Love this monitor. For what it cost I thought I was going to get a sub par product but I could not have been more wrong. Its awesome. I have it in my semi truck and it's nice and lite so easy to store while I drive and pull out and set up to use.

Love the Monitor, great monitor to pair with any of the RX5xx series graphics cards for buttery smooth frames in games. Only 4 stars because it is unable to be rotated to much to any side as the stand keeps it firmly in place.

Wanted to set up an office for day trading. Bought three- they are great. The resolution is awesome and I love how thin they are. The only con is that you have to buy an extra part to mount them.

The startup menu is better than other computers I have had-alphabetical subjects listed in a row! The monitor starts up fast! A nice size (23") as well!

My laptop is great, but its screen size is small to work long hours at my home office. I got this HP monitor to extend my screen view from my laptop, and it works perfectly. Installation is quick and easy. The IPS feature allows viewing the monitor at an angle, and it has consistently looking color, up to 178 degrees. When I use two screens, I usually view them at an angle, and this HP monitor works perfectly for this type of setup. The monitor produces large clear images. It has a fast refresh rate of 75Hz which is suitable for most applications and decent for some gaming. The fast refresh is possible because the monitor has the AMD Freesync Technology. The monitor looks high tech with the 3-sided micro-edge and ultraslim thickness. It is very lightweight, and it tilts forward and backward to accommodate for best viewing angle. The monitor is not a VESA mount. I am satisfied with my new HP monitor.

    Slim Monitor with Great Picture

I had not upgraded my monitor in some time and was looking forward to getting something new! The 23" HP monitor has a lot to offer for it's slender size and nearly bezel-less frame! One thing I really like is the nearly edge to edge picture on this line of HP monitors. I also like the seven different pre-configured Viewing modes to choose from. This will adjust the light level and the overall color and tone of the monitor. If none of these are to your liking, there is also a custom option to configure the monitor to your preference. I have kept mine on the Gaming - FreeSync option. I do like the simple design of the monitor, however I do think they could have places a small etching/removable sticker (something of the sort) at the bottom as to where/what the buttons do. They do sit out of sight and you can press any of the four buttons, to bring up a little menu, pressing a button again will bring you to the corresponding menu shown above. It's not that big of a deal, once you get it set to your liking I doubt they will be used much, just thought I would mention. This monitor has 5 ms response time, 75 Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Technology, 178° viewing angle and great contrast. I haven't gamed on the monitor too much, mostly using it for my day to day computing needs. However, with these specs I could see this being a great choice for anyone happy with a 1080p Experience. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to purchase a monitor check this HP line out!

Fantastic monitor. I thought my All-in One monitory was good until I put this side by side. Much brighter, better color and a little more crisp. Videos are perfect on this 1080p monitor. Like most new monitors, the edges / frame is very thin, almost all screen. The only thing I would have liked is a height adjustment on the stand to line up the bottom edges perfectly with my other monitor. Overall a nice buy.

I purchased this monitor because I have always liked using two monitors when doing work at home. The screen is thin and the colors are vibrant. Connecting the monitor to my laptop was easy. The weight of the monitor is very light which made traveling with it a breeze. I am super happy with this purchase!

I was really excited about the HP 23f FreeSync Monitor. I'm in the process of redesigning my office and this appeared to be stylish and minimalist , with promising specs. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice looking monitor, with nice performance. It's just not anywhere near cutting edge sexy in resolution (double entendre intended). I was disappointed in the way the cables jut out the back of the monitor, particularly since it has a bumpout the full width. They could have attached vertically. Speaking of vertical, the monitor tilts, but does not offer height adjustment. The performance? Ok for today. It didn't get as bright as I would like, nor did altering settings do much for crispness. BUT It's less than $200 and at this price, it's hard to beat. My non-recommendation is due to the fact that my friends are in high-performance graphics professions.

Amazing FreeSync monitor for the price

FreeSync at this price range is crazy, I was skeptical when I bought it but it works perfectly. The picture and video quality is mind blowing, games look amazing and stutter free hitting 75fps at all times, the panel is very thin and looks very elegant, I'm really looking to buy a second and maybe a third for my gaming setup. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for FreeSync on a budget, if you play sitting inches away from you monitor like a desk this monitor is perfect for you, I don't game on anything bigger than 27inches because I sit in a desk with the monitor at close range.

Out of all the monitors on display in this price range, it was clear to me this was the best quality monitor. Bought two for a dual monitor setup and I am not disappointed. This display is bright enough as at times my office gets a lot of direct light from the sun and I have absolutely no issues unlike the monitors I replaced. In fact, there are times I have to turn the brightness down to 60 (at night) the rest of the time it is at 75 and it is still easy to see. I had it on 100 and it hurt my eyes. I can only see using 100 if you were in direct sunlight. As far as the quality, contrast is excellent and the colors are also excellent. Images are crisp and clear. I am beyond impressed, I am sure it can handle photo editing no problem. I got them on sale but they are worth paying full price for, I doubt you will find a better monitor in this price range. I don't game that often, I did test it out and it was fine for gaming. Looks awesome, like others have said, it looks flimsy in the picture but I assure you they are not. Very sturdy and looks sleek and not bulky. The screen is the same size as the ones I replaced and I have more desk space as they are sleek and slim, very sharp looking monitors. Check them out in person!

Picked this up to extend my girlfriend's tiny macbook Air screen real-estate, and she loves it. Had to connect with a small displayport-to-HDMI adaptor, but it hooked up immediately and automatically set to mirror the main display. I was a little peeved that the larger 27f model went on sale the week after I purchased this, but she likes a more compact work space and only uses it for writing, so this size is perfect. Lightweight, thin, open base that frees up some of your physical desktop. Only real complaint is the limited adjustment options (only angles up or down a few degrees) that we may have augment with a big book or a stand to raise up a few inches, Otherwise, colour and brightness are easy to adjust, as are the sleep timer and so on.

The frame around the actual screen is very thin so it's like not having a frame around it at all-it opens up the viewing area and is so much nicer than my old monitor that failed recently. HP is a great brand that I've trusted for years. The BB sale on this monitor was a good one, and the customer service Rep I had, "Cory" was outstanding. Excellent monitor for the price, easy set up-you can't go wrong with this purchase.

Without knowing much about monitors, this was a great buy for my work desk at home. I use it as my main monitor and have my laptop connected to it for dual monitor viewing. I love how slim and thin it is - it doesn’t look or feel bulky at all for its size. Picture is clear, not grainy at all. Really happy with the purchase overall.

Everything is better about this monitor. Better resolution, brighter colors, etc., etc.. The only issue was that I had to order a cable that would connect this new monitor to the old graphics card on my PC. Best Buy had one for $9.00 and all I did was hook it up and it worked. A couple of minor adjustments and I was good to go.
