HP - 23f 23" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor - Natural Silver Hp 23 inch monitor is a true 23 inch, not under and not over. The stand for this monitor does not have an adjustable height. It tilts forward 5 degrees and back 13 degrees. It is flat from side to side but has a slight concave (1/16”) from top to bottom. There is no distortion from this, I’m not sure why they would make the screen this way but it does not detract from the viewing angle. The monitor is viewable from all angles to an extreme. Only at the very edge of it’s viewing angle does it start to lose contrast. This applies to not only the side views but also top and bottom as well. The display is a true 23” with a matt finish. The full white and grey displays are clean and pure. White stays white without changing colors and grey does not fade into green or red. This monitor comes with an HDMI cable in the box, something other do not do. It does not come with a VGA cable but this is not missed. The inputs are HDMI and VGA. A note about the HDMI, the monitor does not have speakers so as soon as you plug it in you’ll need to set your sound back to your speakers. The display has a thin bezel around the sides and top, the bottom is about 7/8”. Once it is turned on you see that the bezel is actually 1/4” sides and top, the bottom doesn’t change. It has 5 buttons along the bottom right side as well as a small white/orange power light. The buttons are Main Menu (adjusts everything), Information about the input, Input change, Viewing modes (it has all the standard ones and also a custom setting), and last the power button. The menu system is straight forward and easy to understand. It has a 5ms response time with 75Hz refresh. It contains an AMD chip that is supposed to match the monitor to any compatible AMD video card. I was unable to test this. I have either low end Intel cards or NVIDIA GTX 1070 cards. I was pleased with the monitors performance and saw no motion blur while watching fast paced movies.

Needed an inexpensive HDMI capable monitor. this was a great monitor at an excellent price. Hooked right up and good to go.

Using this as secondary monitor for my existing machine and has got a better quality and great compatibility.
