Customers are saying
Customers commend the 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor for its large screen size, ease of use, and excellent quality, frequently praising its design and resolution. While some wish for built-in speakers and a higher refresh rate, many appreciate the monitor's lightweight design and the lack of eye strain. A few users noted the absence of a VESA mount and limitations with the stand's adjustability.

A Cool Looking Everyday Monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.IPS monitors provide excellent color reproduction as well as much better viewing angles and the HP M27f Full HD monitor is just that monitor for your everyday use. The M27f isn’t your traditional IPS monitor though; it’s very simple in design, yet more contemporary with its unique monitor stand and silver accents. The monitor’s bezels are fairly thin and the chin is of an acceptable size. It allows for two HDMI and one VGA inputs. Monitor controls are tucked underneath the chin with a single LED light to indicate power as well as a tiny symbol designating where the power button is located. Right in the center of the chin is the HP logo. Overall, the monitor just looks really, really cool. This monitor is probably the lightest, thinnest monitor I’ve ever owned. A monitor’s stand typically puts on the weight to allow for stability, but the combination of its thin screen and its uniquely designed stand is well balanced. It also probably has to do with the limited adjustability of the screen as you can only forward tilt it to and fro; you cannot raise or lower the monitor, and you cannot switch it to landscape. Other omissions are the ability to VESA mount this monitor as there are no mounting provisions for it. You’ll have to rock the stand it came with. Performance? It’s an IPS monitor with a generous 75Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync. Probably not a gamer’s monitor, but photo viewing, movie watching and the like are indeed enjoyable experiences with the M27f. Bringing up the OSD, there are many options to play with to get the monitor dialed in for your needs. I flipped between Neutral and Native for as they both provided a more natural color output that was easy on the eyes. Speaking of easy, HP Eye Ease is a feature that reduces blue light to help one get to bed easier. It's synonymous with cell phones that “warms” the screen to help aid in sleep. Viewing angles on the M27f are fantastic no matter which angle you’re coming from. Try this on a VA or TN panel and your screen begins to degrade or disappear. Other honorable mentions -- on the backside, there is a small groove in the stand for cable management...and that’s all I can say about the backside. HP decided to go with a power brick to keep the monitor light and super thin and that doesn’t bother me unless I manage to lose the power brick somehow. Cons?? Like I mentioned above, it has limited adjustability as well as mountability. Also, there are no speakers if you’re looking for sound output. There is a VGA port, which confuses me to this day. I thought we got rid of those a long time ago. It seems to be the still ongoing trend for many 1080p displays made today. Finally, there’s the price. IPS monitors generally are more expensive than their VA/TN counterparts at the equivalent resolution and refresh rate. But you do get the better color saturation and viewing angles. But when competing with the other 27” FHD IPS monitors in its class, the M27f is an aesthetics first, function second kind of monitor. No doubt, the monitor looks cool, but there are other monitors that can be adjusted in every which way as well as be VESA mounted if you choose to, all with the IPS benefits at around the same price range. So if you’re looking for a 27” FHD IPS monitor and you love the way the M27f looks, yet know its physical limitations, I’d say go for it. It’s just a sleek looking monitor all around, it visually performs well, and ultimately gets a recommendation from me.

Worth The Investment!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am impressed with the HP M32f monitor. It's the first thin monitor I've purchased through HP. The color display is amazing, and the picture quality is sharp. I am also impressed on how light the monitor is in weight. I primarily use my monitor for work, but on the weekends my wife and I will pull up our chairs, make some popcorn, and watch movies! I would highly recommend the M32f to anyone looking for a quality monitor without breaking the bank account.

HP 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We wanted a monitor that would "play well" with our new HP Omen. I make about 4-5 videos a week and use the Adobe products to make opening and closing screens. I usually have to add words or put photos together to make the screens. This monitor is Huge! I love it. I can see the details on my artwork. Loved working with the Best Buy team!

good value for money for a FHD monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.good value for money. The monitor has 2 HDMI and 1 VGA port for ease of connection. The monitor looks elegant and can tilt to match your eyes' direction. Though it does not rotate left/right nor move up/down.

WFH Game-Changer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a second monitor to extend my WFH setup, which was previously just a small MacBook screen, and let me tell you, it has been AMAZING. It's lightweight and has brilliant color; and for how large the screen is, it takes up a surprisingly small amount of space on my desk.

Big Monitor - Low Quality - Too Big For FHD/1080p
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To begin, I purchased this product while on sale for $129.99… However, considering this monitor is only FHD/1080p, is 27” large & if being used closely (such as a home computer desk) you really ought to upgrade to 4k or greatly reduce the size; otherwise, plan on seeing individual pixels. I am currently debating whether I will return this product. If I do return it, I will simply put cash back in my wallet or save up to spend about twice the price to get a 4k monitor with better overall quality. Either way, I personally would not purchase this item again and I absolutely would not recommend this at any price higher than I paid $129.99. Pros: I find this product to have a decent exterior apparel, although I’d prefer the frame/stand was black. I like the ability to tilt the screen a little forward and even more backwards. Unfortunately, the height cannot be adjusted but my computer desk doesn’t have room for much adjustment, so it doesn’t really matter for my own situation. Simply being a rather lightweight 27” monitor for standard computer use seems nice but doesn’t really matter besides having negative consequences. Cons: As mentioned in the beginning I believe any 27” monitor should have display quality higher than FHD/1080p! The clouding in this monitor doesn’t just exist… it is horrible, just view my pics!!! When doing standard computer work such as internet browsing, viewing documents etc. the clouding isn’t overly apparent, watching brief videos is annoying and watching/editing videos is unbearable. I would much prefer the monitor to have more weight as it is rather unstable and wobbles easily. I don’t worry the monitor will tip over, but the wobbling is rather annoying and undesirable. The buttons/menu options are functionable but feel cheap and rather outdated. I’d like to see an HDMI display output, but an HDMI Splitter is a cheap and easy way to overcome this. Additionally, this item was shipped in original packaging!!!

What a difference!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WOW! What a difference it makes having both a computer and large monitor screen to work from. I can work faster and more efficient not having to switch back and forth between screens and squint to see things that are so much smaller on the computer screen. I definitely won't be without again! This HP 27" is just perfect for me, the price was very good, and it has already paid me back in saved time and stress relief!!

Great 2nd Monitor to my iMac
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Monitor! I use it as a 2nd monitor for my iMac for graphic design, It matches perfect with the silver accents. The only reason i gave it 4 stars was because the height is not adjustable to make it the same height as my primary computer. But other than that its great! There's lots of monitor settings for night, ease of eyes, and plenty more! Very happy.
