Customers find value in the large screen size, excellent price, and ease of use of the 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor. The clarity and design also receive positive feedback. However, some customers wish it included speakers and a sturdier stand, while others note the lack of a VESA mount and that the refresh rate is limited. The screen's susceptibility to glare is also a point of contention for some users.

I love this monitor. It is beautiful, non glare, connects super easy to my new Envy desktop. It does not have speakers so you will need to get external speakers. The image is crisp an clear and goes to the edge of the computer so you get maximum view. Very happy!

Excellent monitor, I bought it on Dec 15, 2020, and to date it has not presented any problems, it has pleased me, it has premium image quality and color, I use it to program, edit, for video games, and do daily tasks , 4K content looks great.

I work from home most of the week and recently upgraded one my monitors to the HP24f. Doing so made me realize that I needed to replace my other one as well and bought this 27f.
I'm very pleased with both of the monitors. HP put out a series here that is basically plug and play and built to maximize workspace.

It's a good display for the money it's sold for, almost no bezel, lightweight and extremely thin. Bright and contrast picture visible from almost any angle. Top refresh rate is 75Hz which allows for smooth movements. Colors are vibrant and black is deep, no color variations across the panel, no bright spots.
However maximum resolution is just 1920x1080 for the 27" panel. It won't be a "retina display" experience at all.
Other minor things:
- no DisplayPort connection, just 2 of HDMI (one HDMI cable is included) and VGA
- no VESA mount at the back, monitor can not be used with the 3rd party display stand or wall mount
- power supply is external (small laptop kinda brick) which makes cable management little bit more difficult, on the other hand - it's easy to replace.

I really like this HP 27 F display. It has a picture quality that any gamer can appreciative. I think the 27" near bezel-less screen looks excellent. The only problem I have I really have is the fact the there is no 3.5 mm port for speakers. So get ready to connect it to a modem, game console with headphones or use it as a second screen( my preferred choice.) It would look great in a dorm room, game room or the office. Here is a link to my more in-dept review.

I recommend this to anyone in need of that extra screen or somone looking to up their PC game. If only there were a speaker port, this would get 5 stars.

There are a lot of 27" monitors out there and my needs are pretty business oriented so I did quite a bit of research before pulling the trigger on this HP 27f monitor. The setup out of the box was really easy (pop on the stand, plug in the power, and use the provided HDMI cable to connect to computer.) The power brick is the type that has a pigtail on both ends so it doesn't hog up a strip - love that and hate the type that have the plug directly on the brick. I have heard of some complaints about this being wobbly, but my desk is sturdy and I have to really shake it to get any movement. None from quick typing or general day-to-day stuff. Out of the box, visually, the settings were spot on. Blacks are good, little-to-no glare, and good angles. Finally, I use both HDMI inputs and it even has a third RGB. They auto switch nicely and the two ports was why I picked this monitor out of all the others.
Basically this monitor has the features I wanted/needed, and none that I don't want, and it was on sale for more than a fair price. For gaming, you are probably going to want a higher rez monitor, but for my document reading and light graphical work, the 1080p is perfect. I think the only thing I'd like to see is a stand that adjusts height. For my set up its fine, but if I was using my old desk, it might be a little low for me. Really my only drawback and its mild.

Trying to cram a programming project last-minute on a 13-inch Macbook Pro is not a fun task. That's where this guy came in.
I decided to buy this monitor to make multitasking on my Mac a lot more bearable - and it does exactly that. It's as bright as I need it to be, the 1080p resolution is nice, and boy, was it affordable.
That being said, this certainly isn't the best monitor you could buy for programming. If I weren't a college student, I'd probably grab a monitor with a higher resolution and higher pixel density to make text look a lot less pixel-y when compared with the Mac's display.
Setting this display up on my desk was super easy, too; you don't need any special tools. It's super easy to take the metal stand off if you prefer to mount this display instead of using the stand (or you need to move from your college town to your mom's house because a pandemic suddenly decided to descend upon the Earth).
Overall, this has been a great display for what I needed it for, and I would absolutely buy it again!

I like the form factor of this monitor. It's easy to set up with no tools required. Thin and lightweight with about 45 degree tilt is great for most tasks. The 2 HDMI ports and 1 VGA make it easy to hook up. I like that it auto detects your graphics card resolution and adjusts itself to the max parameters. The screen is very bright with no dead pixels or hotspots. Color rendition is crisp and accurate with fine tune adjustments and different modes available. I would have preferred some type of built-in speakers as auxiliary though I'm sure I don't need them. Also, the 1080p resolution seems a bit lacking for a 27" unit, but for the price it's expected. Overall, I find the monitor to be a great replacement for my 19" 1400x900 screen.

what a nice monitor for the reasonable price tag of 179.99.
nice bright colors/contrast, easy on the eyes, lightweight, it's not black,no speakers but no biggie nowadays. Best Buy customer service and managers...aces! Has vga input for vhs and older electronice connectables , some dvd players and blueray, some consoles. If you are like me in that I hate paying too much for something that is for personal use/fun/basic accounting. This is the ticket for US. Can't complain...its worth the 180$. Peace.

Working from home and needed a monitor to connect to my HP x360 Chromebook. Had to do some research if my Chromebook was compatible (which it is). Easy to put together by simply attaching base to screen. No significant wobble detected, and the space underneath allows me to store my wireless keyboard and mouse. To be safer, I used string to tie down and secure the monitor stand to the desk to prevent accidental tip overs or mishaps. No VESA mounts or speakers, but that's okay. Sound from Chromebook is fine and I can always purchase a soundbar or external speakers someday. However, HDMI cable gets loose in the back a few times and monitor was unable to detect display. Need to watch for that.

I'm a Drafter/Designer and I like to see my stuff bright and large and this monitor went beyond my expectations. Simply awesome. See pic. Just be aware that it comes with two end HDMI cable in case you're using an older PC or laptop.

Easy to set up and looks stunning! The screen is large and useful when having multiple pages open. Please be aware that it does NOT HAVE SPEAKERS. It was not an issue for me since I use this for homework. However, I have used it for my Nintendo switch just that you have to set close enough to plug headphones on the switch. Overall, love it! I’m considering buying another one!

Recently picked this up to enable working from home for an extended period of time. It was easy to set up and provides a nice picture, great for displaying multiple documents. It's only 1080p but I'm only using it for work so I don't really need higher resolutions or refresh rates. So much better than having to work off my laptop's display. No complaints so far.

This monitor looks great. The picture quality is great and the resolution was perfect on a monitor of this size. It is incredibly light and easy to move around. The tilt works well, no problems there either. And it's very thin and black bezel really adds to that modern look.
I have no problems with glare and it is plenty bright. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality Monitor.

I have three of these monitors. They all work very well and the slim design makes it a space saver on the desk. The only thing I would have to say it would have been nice to have them with a VESA mount so you can put them on one desk stand. Other than that the color is good, no reflections and refresh rate is good. I use them for graphs which I have no issues seeing the details.

I got this monitor for a larger screen while doing distance learning. It’s aesthetically pleasing with a minimal bezel to maximize screen size. Very clear, bright and vivid display. I haven’t played around with the settings yet, but the default picture is very good. The included HDMI cord was handy and convenient. The stand seems a little wobbly, as the monitor shakes a bit when I’m typing. Not enough to tip it over but enough for me to notice. I wish it included speakers, but that’s a small trade-off considering the quality of the picture.
