Great Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi, I use this monitor in my job daily. I love the size. It is thin so fits on my desk well and is wide enough that I can fit applications side by side with ease. The color is sharp. No problems with a few games I play in my off time either.

Frugal buyer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had purchased this HP monitor during black friday for a whopping $110. This has been used primarily for office work and I have no major complain for the one month I've owned. Sure the stand is wobbly but once you calibrate the monitor there's no need to touch the monitor again. Just try not to hit the desk/table. This can be adjusted to 75 Hz and came with an HDMI cable. And there's a little space at the bottom rear of the stand that can be used for cable management. There's an old Samsung 27" on the next desk and this HP monitor looks a lot smaller due to its thin bezel. I miss the curved monitor from Costco that I've tried but the $100 difference makes up for it. I've tried 144Hz monitor and I can't tell the difference for office work. During this black friday month I've tried 3 different monitors and I'm sticking to this one because of the price. Last week this went for $130 and now it's back up to $250. If this falls below $130, I'd recommend but anything above, no thanks. But then again I've heard there's some kind of monitor shortage so I'm pretty sure stores will play off of that.

Great Budget Monitor for Student and Photographers
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this monitor to connect my laptop to (HP Spectre x360). The monitor is very slim and the screen looks great with the bezel-less display. There are options to change the settings of the monitor depending on what you are using it for. I usually have mine on a custom setting and the photography setting. The detail and picture quality is great. It gets really bright too. Two Cons; - there is backlight bleed that is very noticeable when you have a black screen, but I am not too bothered by it (considering how much this monitor cost) - there is no 3.5mm jack to plug in speakers (again not a big deal since you can connect the speakers to your laptop/computer or use Bluetooth speakers. Overall, this is a great product.

Posted .Dear Customer,
We appreciate you sharing such detailed feedback about the monitor, despite the lack of the 3.5mm jack. We worked really hard to build this product and we hope you enjoy using it as much!
Thanks,

Good quality and price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it on sale for $135 I think it was. Great price for a 27" monitor. Looks great, easy to use. I did have the 23" version, but it was just a bit too small. The 27" is perfect. Plenty of settings to get the picture you like. The HP Enhance+ mode was amazing when I first discovered it (in the Color Control menu) and is great on the medium setting. Wish it had a headphone jack, but otherwise great monitor.

Nice screen, controls could be more convenient
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale in mid November, so I've been using it for about a month and a half. The screen is clear, and large enough that I can open 2 good program windows. Picture quality is good for working from home and general internet use including the occasional movie. I've used it with Windows 10 and Linux Mint with no problems. Assembly is quick and easy. The monitor is thinner than my older ones, so space and weight aren't issues. It has worked fine with HDMI and VGA cables. The one issue I have is that it has 5 buttons that are small and not marked at all. The User Guide is only on the HP website, so you have to search for it. The monitor came with a booklet of Product Notices in 37 languages - it would have been helpful if they added a page showing where the buttons are and in particular what they do.

Value for Money
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At 110, this 27" was a steal. If you are looking for something to work from home and as a secondary screen. Go for this one. The color and brightness are perfect. It looks elegant as well

Excellent monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for work because I could not see the tiny monitors IT gives us. Apparently going blind in my old age. This thing was on sale (I believe a daily deal) so I got it. AMAZING. This monitor for work is wonderful. I have had it maybe a year and a half or so and it is still working perfectly. I DO NOT play video games or anything like that - just work, reports, word docs, excel, and the occasional youtube video, it works just fine! Marked excellent on "VALUE" because I waited until it was on sell - paid maybe 169 "ish" not the full price.

Low cost, large bright screen with 2 HDMIs!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is lightweight, easy to set up and very high in build and display quality. I chose this monitor for the price, quality and ease-of-use. 27" is a great size that allows you to have multiple documents on one screen or just to enjoy a full-screen of information from your PC or Mac. I found the 2 HDMI ports and available legacy VGA connector a bonus in case I needed it. The almost-frameless screen is very attractive. A very intuitive menu system using the hidden buttons make for a very good look with ease of use.

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my Grandson to play XBOX. He was previously using a 19 inch TV. This product has a great picture and the graphics are amazing while playing a game. The refresh rate makes it refreshing to use. I have also used the monitor instead of my Desktop to view You Tube videos'. The price could not be beat even with the protection plan that was purchased was less than $150.00 what a Buy!!!! Knew nothing about this monitor other than posted reviews, the Best Buy clerk recommended this monitor after I explained my Grandson needs and my budget. Very Glad he did. Very pleased with this product and Best Buy price, knowledge and pleasant customer experience. Thank You.

Great value for the money - Basic monitor +
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value for the price. Purchased for work from home. Fits well in my Ikea Secretary Desk and works extremely well. Paired with the CalDigit docking station for my work window laptop and personal MacBook Air. Can't say how it would be for gaming, but it is perfect for Word, Excel, PPT snd email. I do some light photo editing with he Mac. I don't think there is a better monitor for the price point. Got this on sale for $149 at Christmas and had $50 BB credit. Out the door for $110 couldn't ask for more.

I would recommend this monitor.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At 27" it's quite big. And that's a good thing. I use Windows 10 and this large screen has let me increase the "make everything bigger" settings so everything is nice and large (I increased it to 117%). This monitor comes with some color filters in the physical monitor's settings. Below is the list of color settings: Low Blue Light, Night, Reading, HP Enhance +..., Gaming-FreeSync, Movie, Photo, Custom ... I like the "Low Blue Light" and the "Night" settings because it lowers the blue light. Blue light is the stuff that does things like keeping you from sleeping every night if you have been on the computer recently, and so I like to keep the blue light down low in the evenings and night. This monitor comes with a VGA port and two HDMI ports on the back. By the way, an HDMI cable is included in the packaging of this monitor so you don't need to buy an extra cable. When I first installed it I couldn't figure out how to turn it on. Well, it turns out that the buttons are on the right side on the bottom of the display, but they aren't visible from the front. You have to feel your way around a lip to find the buttons. The menu that pops up when you push them points to the buttons below to scroll in the menu and do a selection. There is a small pin-hole size light on the front that you can look at to see if it's on or not. I read that the resolution for this monitor is 1920x1080 with a sync rate of 75Hz, but the monitor doesn't look as nice at 75Hz. It looks better at 60Hz and the monitor info says the monitor is optimized for 60Hz, not 75Hz. Overall, I would recommend this monitor. It's a nice big and bright screen. Though no speakers are on this model.

Good display for the price bracket
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good over all monitor. Pros: Great size UI menus are ok for adjusting colors and settings 75hz refresh rate (OC to 78-79 with my display) Price Cons: No vesa mounting holes so this will not work with an arm Stand has no height adjustment and could be a little more sturdy

A beautiful affordable monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor for my 13" MacBook, so that I can open multiple windows at the same time. The 1K resolution is not the highest, so the texts looked a little awkward at the beginning, but once I got used to it, I enjoyed it very much. It is much cheaper than any of the 4K monitor after all. The color is great and I did not need to make any adjustment. I have used it for more than a year and it never had any glitches.

Great price great monitor
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been looking for a second monitor for a while now to match my other older hp 27 inch I purchased a while back so when I saw this on sale I knew I had to pull the trigger. The monitor sits slightly lower than my older model monitor (little less than a quarter inch) but that's easily solved with a book or a mount so no biggie. It may not be 4k but it's still a fantastic quality monitor that should work for most people. Just make sure your device has either an HDMI or VGA display port and if it doesn't you'll need an adapter.

27" HP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.what a nice monitor for the reasonable price tag of 179.99. nice bright colors/contrast, easy on the eyes, lightweight, it's not black,no speakers but no biggie nowadays. Best Buy customer service and managers...aces! Has vga input for vhs and older electronice connectables , some dvd players and blueray, some consoles. If you are like me in that I hate paying too much for something that is for personal use/fun/basic accounting. This is the ticket for US. Can't complain...its worth the 180$. Peace.
