Customers find value in the large screen size, excellent price, and ease of use of the 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor. The clarity and design also receive positive feedback. However, some customers wish it included speakers and a sturdier stand, while others note the lack of a VESA mount and that the refresh rate is limited. The screen's susceptibility to glare is also a point of contention for some users.

Great buy at a reasonable price. This monitor connects seamlessly to my laptop and my desktop. It is perfect and the display area is large. The display was a little blurry/ grainy when I first turned it on, but I just adjusted the settings and it looks great. It comes with the HDMI chord and needs no other connections.

This is a great little monitor that basically does it all (except all kinds of rotating or moving on the stand or internal speakers, but I didn't need those). It has a very attractive case, something which Dell, Acer, LG, and others sometimes don't do, but HP did on this one. The attention to design shows. A great silver bezel, very attractive small LED light for status, and a nifty little square modern-art stand that SNAPS (yea!) into the body of the monitor to hold it up. The screen goes all the way out to the edge, like an Apple product (compliment). It goes into power save instantly, warms up fast, has great colors and is easy to work on without eye strain (good refresh rate). For the price, this accidental find turned out to be just what I needed. The only negative: the buttons are across the bottom, and you're going to have to memorize what they do, but mostly I never use them anyway once they're set, as I let the monitor handle power saving.

Best monitor I ever owned. The resolution is perfect and just what I was looking for. Only con is that it is not mountable on a monitor arm, but the sheen tiles and is more than perfect for my purposes.

Excellent monitor for the price. Clean look and good design. Has two HDMI ports and screen produces very less glare. This is my second one and now my dual monitor setup is complete. Only con for me was the refresh rate, would have liked it to be higher than 75hz.

Had to purchase a large size monitor to work at home. I couldn't stand trying to read emails on my surface pro screen. It was too small. I really like this monitor, it was priced right for what I need, which are emails, spreadsheets and word docs. The only downside is no camera or speakers. I have to use my surface pro for those, which isn't too bad...other than the camera. Oh well...that explains why only 4 stars.

Got 8 of these when Best Buy ran them on sale and must say worth every single dime! Great color, great resolution and very slim design. Would definitely recommend these for anyone looking for office monitors.

Got two of these on sale for $120 each. I was torn between the 27 or 32 inch. After reading vlogs, YouTube videos and reviews, I settled on the 27 inch model. The 27 in has a refresh rate of 75 vs 60 MHz. This is better than a larger screen if you plan to hook up a Switch, Xbox or PS4. These screens are massive considering I have two side by side. My only criticism is that you need an HP vesa adapter plate, if you want to hook these up on office monitor arms. It’s an extra cost if you intend to get them up and in the air and out of the way. I personally use them side by side on a desk predominantly for work. If you are intending to use them for work, just stick with the 27 in. The cost savings is significant and you will be happier with a little smaller footprint.

Great monitor, great price. The resolution and colors are great, and it's big enough for multitasking...spreadsheets, word docs, emails, etc. Loved the snap-in base, no need for a screwdriver. Got it going in 5 min.

I have now purchased 4 of these 27" HP monitors. They do not have sound, but their picture quality is excellent. I have not had a problem with glare or flickering. I use them with a laptop at home, and with a desktop at the office. I have two monitors attached to each computer. The size is great for everything from word processing, and emails to Zoom and creating (or watching) videos. The small frames make them look great together without a gap between them (I use the extended to second screen view). It is so much more convenient to have two monitors for everything from Zooming (to see people on one, and the shared information on the other), or just dropping and dragging for organizing files.

I bought this for my stepdaughter to connect to her AirMac since she would be home for school. She loves it for not needing to look at a small screen but also that the resolution and clarity are great!

This is a beautiful monitor. it is not the highest refresh rate monitor, but it does support 75mhz and freesync so it feels pretty nice. Its picture for everyday use is more than enough and esppecially with the size of the monitor. It is IPS so it has nice vibrant colors for all your content watching. I have developed one dead pixel in the corner, but that has been the only issue I have had with it. I use this at 75hz and freesync when I am playing my games and the experience is great there as well. This is a great starting point if you want to game and watch content to get the feel of things.

I had purchased this HP monitor during black friday for a whopping $110.
This has been used primarily for office work and I have no major complain for the one month I've owned. Sure the stand is wobbly but once you calibrate the monitor there's no need to touch the monitor again. Just try not to hit the desk/table.
This can be adjusted to 75 Hz and came with an HDMI cable. And there's a little space at the bottom rear of the stand that can be used for cable management.
There's an old Samsung 27" on the next desk and this HP monitor looks a lot smaller due to its thin bezel.
I miss the curved monitor from Costco that I've tried but the $100 difference makes up for it.
I've tried 144Hz monitor and I can't tell the difference for office work. During this black friday month I've tried 3 different monitors and I'm sticking to this one because of the price.
Last week this went for $130 and now it's back up to $250.
If this falls below $130, I'd recommend but anything above, no thanks. But then again I've heard there's some kind of monitor shortage so I'm pretty sure stores will play off of that.

Purchased two of these to work on. The increased screen size times 2 makes an awesome upgrade. Easy to hook up, clear, stylish. Purchased on sale so a super good price point. Would recommend.

with this 27 incher. Ultra-slim! Great picture plus I like having an external power brick that allows for an ultra slim monitor. The power brick is quite small...
IPS is so much more vibrant than what came before. Vibrant but nor glaring. I didn't know what I was missing. The laptop I am typing on, the screen is quite washed out in comparison.
NIGHT TIME TIP>>>>> install the flu.x program on your Windows computer. This softens the light from any old monitor at night. It shifts to red and away from blue. THEN ALSO find the 27F monitor viewing mode adjustment that says night view. It is next to the low blue light option. Use night view and flu.x at the same time and adjust flu.x to your preference.

I purchased this monitor because the CPU I got did not come with one. I am very happy with it.
It is big and has great resolution and app options/connections.
I didn't know it didn't have built-in speakers until I brought it home and installed it, I would have looked for one that does. Overall I love it, great monitor for the price.

I was looking for an upgrade to my more than ten year old home use 19” monitor. The HP 27f was a good all around choice. I am very pleased with the purchase after about a week of use. The monitor is nice looking with a modern minimalist style. The base is solid and does not require a screwdriver for assembly. Picture quality is good for daily use and mild gaming. A great feature for those with older equipment is that this monitor has both VGA and HDMI inputs, so I can still use this with my older machines for maximum flexibility.
Only downside is that it does not adjust up and down.
I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Picked this up for the great work-from-home event of 2019! I'll be honest and say that it was one of the better monitors at a decent price. I needed it as a second screen, so was not looking to fork out a ton of money to hold random stuff. To my surprise, this has turned out to be an excellent addition to my shrinking desktop real estate space. The image is bright and clear, Everything was easy to set up and use. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a mid-size second screen.

It was easy to set up. Takes up very little room on your desk top. Base is low profile and allows keyboard to slide over it when not in use. Excellent resolution and great size for split screen use.

Have only been using for a couple of days but so far it's great. Attractive design, moderate price tag, nice size for home office use. Getting it up and running and connected was a breeze. Really enjoy the almost non-existent bezels on top and sides. Doesn't take much room with the small stand.
