Picked this monitor up to replace my 21" IPS monitor a couple of weeks ago and I thought I'd give my initial impressions. Besides from a little bright spot towards the bottom of the screen (a manufacturing defect I can live with), I've been enjoying this monitor after toning down the brightness and getting FreeSync enabled. The colors are reasonably good (just a little washed out) , the size makes a huge upgrade, and the curve adds a nice touch of immersion without being over-the-top. My only niggling points are that 1080p is --almost-- too course of a resolution to use on this big of a screen (I can see the individual pixels if I look closely) and that the included stand is only tilt adjustable. Thankfully the monitor is VESA mount compatible, so it's just a matter of me going back and forth with myself as to whether or not I should have spent an extra $100 to get a monitor with a 1440p resolution.

First, I always purchase HP products because they have been very reliable to me. I purchased this monitor because of the Curve feature. The curve is a good feature and I enjoy, but the resolution/color is not as vibrant on this monitor. It is very basic even if the color is Custom to Vivid. The screen is good on games and I see no lag or pauses while gaming.

Bought several of these monitors for a new business they are great quality at a responsible price point.

Works great with my Surface Pro 3. Colors are great, and it was a good price.
