It's been ON ever since we installed it

So, you really need to have the viewing angle perfect for it to work for you. Color saturation is a little hard to adjust to emulate what your laptop is rendering. All in all, not bad for the price.

Fine Display but Open Box item had minor issues

Brightness, sharpness, and readability are all fine. Unfortunately the DVI input did not work, so I had to use it on a different computer (one with HDMI out) than first intended. In all then, a tradeoff: a reduced price on a discontinued model that is highly useful but is more limited in input choices.
