Customers are saying

Customers recognize the 31.5" IPS LED FHD Monitor's large screen size and ease of use as significant advantages, frequently praising its setup and value for the price. Positive feedback also highlights the clarity and resolution, along with the inclusion of HDMI and VGA ports. However, some users noted the lack of built-in speakers and a 60Hz refresh rate as drawbacks, while others expressed mixed opinions regarding the stand and its suitability for gaming.

    COVID-19 Teacher Review.

If you're reading this, you're probably a teacher. This is a simple cursory analysis (spoiler: no rubric) so here we go... Things I love about it... (a) It's very slim, fits nicely on the desk with my MacBook Pro. (b) The metal stand is very sturdy, does not feel cheaply made. (c) The picture is really nice, bright and colorful, especially when having multiple text-heavy documents on the screen at once. (d) The HDMI cable came **included** (bonus points!). (e) It's an IPS display so your picture/colors aren't washed out if you're looking at it from the side. Things I don't... (a) No DisplayPort option. [2x HDMI and 1x VGA only.] (b) It has a power adapter (not cable), about the size of a small laptop. It's fine under the desk and doesn't create too much clutter but I would've preferred a cable-only setup (sans AC adapter). One (1) thing I would change... (a) If this screen had a USB-C (or Thunderbolt) connection, I wouldn't need a dongle to connect it. I know, wishful thinking on my part. For what I'm doing (e.g., grading, reading, etc.), I don't need anything as fancy as 4K with Thunderbolt and docking station; it just needs to work. I've been very happy with it after 2+ months of usage. If you can get it on sale (I did), it's a terrific screen for the price.

The HP 31.5" IPS LED monitor has been a great addition to our home office. Large enough to run split-screen through Windows10 for spreadsheet viewing or other opened dual applications. Great resolution for most all HD videos (not quite the monitor for fast gaming). All in all, very happy with it and the sale price was excellent.

This is a really good monitor that has amazing resolution. Assembly and connection is very easy and I have no complaints about the quality as the picture is crystal clear. The only issue I had was having to purchase this online as my local store was out of it. The box is designed for some reason with a small door on one side of it. Inside this is the power end of the power supply. Upon delivery, the small door was open and the power cord was gone, very frustrating.

$150 for 32 inch monitor, can't beat this price. If you are hardcore gamer, this monitor might not suite for you. Since I brought this monitor mainly for work and I'm a developer, I need a big screen for easier to development and troubleshoot code. There is no high adjustment, therefore this monitor is ALMOST perfect. (4.5 stars)

Bought this since working from home more often. At first look, this thing looks huge. Was worried about 1080P at 32 inches based on what I read. The text looks really good and sharp at this size. The bezel is minimal and the monitor looks sleek and modern.

Awesome picture. Easy to use and adjust to your liking. Sleek and smooth design fits in easy. Light weight so moving and adjusting to right height was easy. Love the dual hdmi ports with the built in switch button on the front right of the monitor. Love it and would buy another.

This monitor is nearly perfect in my opinion, say for one fatal (for me) flaw. The picture is great, the screen is glossy (Which you either love or hate, I love as colors pop) and it's well built and nice looking. The only con, and this is on me, for not reading more reviews, is no speakers. Now, that's normal. Most monitors these days don't have speakers, and that's fine, I have some nice speakers. Except, I'm using this as a console monitor in my spare room, and it doesn't have an audio jack, only Two HDMI ports, and a DVI port, and power cable slot and lock slot. If you have a PC or Mac, or even Chromebook or linux machine, this isn't an issue most likely for you. You have a headphone jack on your device and can lock in some great headphones, or external speakers. If you're planning on using this with a game console, like Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4/5, or Xbox one/series x/s, it won't work for you. Heck, even a fire stick or roku won't work as there will be no sound unless it has a headphone jack. That's the only thing keeping it from being perfect, and I hope HP makes another one with a USB audio port, or audio jack.

    Excellent Work Monitor

Monitor quality is surprisingly solid with a decent heft to it despite its slim proportions. The size of the monitor itself was more than sufficient for my work needs at home as it was suitable for replacing my dual monitor setup that I have in my office workspace and it has a much smaller footprint on my limited desk space which is definitely a plus. The sleek design compliments any setup you may have at home or in the office and the built-in preset features like Low-Bluelight, etc were a pleasant yet much welcomed surprise. Overall, I would highly recommend this monitor for anyone seeking to improve their work setup (most likely at home given the ongoing pandemic) and the monitor's entertainment qualities are not to be lightly dismissed either.

I struggled with a Samsung 27 inch for two years and finally said the lack of coloration was making my eyes hurt. I checked on all kinds and read all reviews. I consulted with someone who works doing video productions and matched the MacBook Pro to an HP product as I could not afford a thousand dollars for an upgrade. This one looks fantastic and my eyes love it. Set up simple and controls are wonderful. No speakers and no you can't wall mount it. You can spend another $200 and get those features. Deals are how I survive these days. Bought on line for car pickup and in a hour I was very happy. On Sale price kills Amazon.

I love this monitor. The large size took some getting used to, but in retrospect I think that’s because Ive been using a 13” laptop for the last 3 years. Now I’m spoiled, and find myself wishing I had one of these on my desk at work. The picture is amazing. Though I wouldn’t recommend this monitor for gaming of any kind. Sometimes I play Among Us on my PC and even that minimally designed game has a picture lag on this monitor. I’m also bummed that it doesn’t have speakers, even little ones. But everything else about it is fantastic. Makes working in MS office a breeze.

Due to the coronavirus I have now work remotely. I only had a laptop at home, so I needed a larger screen (I usually need two screens for work). I was thinking of getting two screens, but the size of this screen is perfect for the general work I am doing. Additionally, this screen works fine for media consumption as well. I generally don't watch any 4k content so 1080p works perfectly fine for me. Note: I got an open-box version, which was in excellent condition for a very reasonable price! So to me, it was very much worth the money (and my opinion is influenced by the lower price I paid).

Its beautiful. Start off with that. Its slim where it needs to be slim, it takes care of all your need in regards to work. I use this for work and personal. I use a PC for work, works great. And when I use my MacBook Pro for personal stuff? seamless transition. Now, it doesn't have a speakers. which I get, but those who need it might want to look elsewhere. I connect to my Beats pill when I need the speakers and works great. just an annoying extra step. the graphics are overall decent. its not the absolute best. Though for a 300 dollar monitor... I expected just a little better. don't recommend gaming. It works fine! just won't be the best graphics. OH! it doesn't say if it comes with an HDMI cable... but it does!! Overall? Solid. I really enjoy using it. I picked the right one. Don't see me changing this in quite sometime. Good job HP.

I originally thought about purchasing two monitors but after receiving it Im glad I only chose one. It is wide enough for me to split the screen but also narrow enough for me to edit fullscreen comfortably. I only shoot video at 1080p so not having 4k was not a dealbreaker for me. The quality and brightness on this monitor is exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price (bought it on sale). HOWEVER, text is blurry and almost impossible to read so if you want a monitor for your everyday working needs, this is not it! I plugged it in to my macbook using a vga to thunderbolt mini adapter and a vga cable and quickly realized I needed to upgrade to hdmi to thunderbolt. The screen does not stay on when I shut my computer close (not sure if the cable is the reason)

I needed a second larger monitor for working from home during lockdown and stumbled upon this one at a great sale price. It arrived quickly in good shape, was easy to hook up, and looks/operates great. The only disappointment was the packaging for shipment; it had no covering and was shipped simply in the obvious monitor box for anyone to see what it was (I'm glad I was home when it was delivered but shipping like this could easily lead to porch theft anywhere).
