Customers are saying
Customers recognize the 31.5" IPS LED FHD Monitor's large screen size and ease of use as significant advantages, frequently praising its setup and value for the price. Positive feedback also highlights the clarity and resolution, along with the inclusion of HDMI and VGA ports. However, some users noted the lack of built-in speakers and a 60Hz refresh rate as drawbacks, while others expressed mixed opinions regarding the stand and its suitability for gaming.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i had an hp monitor prior to buying this one. had that one for 10 years so thought i would go out and buy another one. seen this one 32 inch at a local best buy and was on sale for 250 the price that was or little more cheaper than the 27 inch. a week has past since purchase and the screen is now flickering. last model no problems till a compacitor went bad, why is this brand new monitor having issues already. just junk. checked online and it said to change display hertz but this one has only one display mode and its 60 herts cant make it faster. so its stuck flickering.

Great disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even after adjusting to its sharpest setting, the image remained fuzzy, the color was never right and the control menu is badly designed and extremely difficult to use. It's very inexpensive for a monitor this size, and has two HDMI ports, but those are the only good things I can say about this mess of a monitor.

Low resolution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The resolution on this large monitor is too low for the size. The picture is very grainy. I would have returned it except the packaging had been discarded.

Great for what it's advertised as...nothing more.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is advertised as a basic, bare bones monitor for "daily usage." At that, it is great. Vivid colors, great response and sharp picture. Handles email, spreadsheets and video with no issues, and great clarity. Though it has modes for movie, game, etc. I found it quite average once demanding applications were used. Pixels became evident, blur became evident, and the blacks and grays were washy. BUT, as mentioned, it is not advertised to handle this, so these were just bonus tests. Viewing angle is great. Testing from all sides, and it does provide great images from all sides. It is also very bright. I was easily able to work in the daylight with little issue. Here's where the monitor truly loses the star in the rating. In comparison with other monitors in this range, there are a few features I'm surprised are not included. A simple set of speakers is one. Not a big deal for a desktop as I typically use a sound system, but when I plug in the laptop, it would be nice to have the sound come from the source. Second, there is no IR compatibility. Being this is a larger monitor, I tend to sit further away. It would be nice to use a remote to turn on/off vs. manually touching. Which leads into the last issue...the auto sensing. While on, the auto sensing works well, but if you connect two active sources, there is no way to physically switch besides manually clicking the button on the bottom. Auto sleep works well if, and only if, the source goes completely dark. If there is a slight trace of power(some sleep modes) it will not turn off. Another reason why remote service would have been great. Ah well, overall it works as advertised, and I still give a recommendation, but for a bit more, you can get higher resolution and some missing functionality...if you're looking for the extras.

Text blurry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received it and returned it the same day. I spent almost an hour trying to make the text clear, using windows configuration and also with the monitor panel buttons. Then I found a paper together with the manual explaining that "The HP 32f 31.5-Inch Monitor has BGR sub-pixel font blur issue" ... and explaining how to set the "cleartype text" on Windows; which did not improved anything. So, it is know that this monitor defective. It should not be on sale. i

Great Monitor for Basic Computer and TV Use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is a great secondary addition to my Macbook Pro setup. Using an HDMI cable I was up and running within just a few minutes. There are 2 hdmi ports and one VGA, so fairly simple setup! The one con is the lack of USB ports. I have a lot of Hard drives and accessories so I usually tend to use a lot of USB inputs and this particular monitor has zero. So if I continue to use this setup I'm going to have to buy a USB hub, not a huge deal, but I think they definitely could have added at least 2 USB ports. The picture itself is bright but there seems to be a bit of light bleed around the outside edge of the monitor. Also if you sit too close to the monitor itself you can actually start to notice the pixels. Obviously for the price I don't expect a Ferrari of a monitor, but in 2019 we shouldn't really be seeing individual pixels. This monitor can double as a gaming or TV console as well, so thats a nice plus. I did notice that the monitor itself is supposed to be anti-glare and I can clearly see a reflection at certain times. But it doesn't affect the screen image enough to be a nuisance. All in all this monitor is a solid addition to my setup, but one that I will probably use as a secondary monitor because my 27 inch Apple Display is clearer imo.

Weird glitches
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has random black screens, a weird green square grid that comes across it randomly in a diagonal pattern then goes black and freezes for a second before starting up again. When it does run it runs okay.

Poor resolution for a screen this size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor looks beautiful on the desk, but it is not functional as a computer monitor unless you have severe vision problems. The maximum resolution setting for this monitor is 1920x1080. What that means on a screen this size is that everything looks enormous.

Love it
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At age 57 and someone who's eyes are not as good as they used to be, this is an awesome monitor. I spend several hours a day in front of my PC and noticed the smaller monitors were hard on my eyes to the point I started to get headaches a lot. This monitor is perfect. Not only is the imaging crystal clear but everything is large and easy to read and there is no more eye strain and no more putting my nose inches from the monitor to read. I'm looking for a second one as soon as possible.

To expensive for video. Not good enough for work.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually regret buying it. I would not recommend this for work or to skip a dual monitor set-up. Its only good at showing video, maybe.

A Fantastic Monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I got the box, I was impressed by the sheer weight of this monitor. It doubles the weight of my previous 32" LCD monitor, and I believe that is a good thing. Weight is often synonymous with quality, and the HP 32f monitor exudes quality. It has a very thin profile and is finished in an attractive silver. I have it connected to an ASUS desktop with a high-end Nvidia video card and the result is fantastic. Compared to my old (3 years old) 720p monitor, this monitor has deeper blacks, brighter and cleaner whites, and rich, rich colors. The monitor has two HDMI and a VGA input. There are no speakers built-in, like some monitors have, so be aware that if you are looking for sound, you'll have to have a separate set of speakers. What can I say other than the picture is flawless, tops my previous monitor, and there are no issues with stuttering or blurriness when playing games.

Not very high resolution. My error
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor might be fine foe a tv, but if you want a dual screen monitor system it is not suitable unless you have eyesight issues

Won’t Power on
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Won’t even power on... bought open-box and they apparently didn’t bother to check if it turned on even though it was deemed certified excellent. I tried troubleshooting with the manufacturer and apparently it’s very common
