Got the present home a gift for my brother and wrapped it. He upended it Christmas morning and the monitor was cracked

Worked 4 months and then he was damaged,the warranty is not covered in Venezuela

it had no mounting screws on the back so I returned it. never even plugged it in

Bought open box. Was defective. Half lit. Returned

wouldn’t recommend buying. had to swap out for a diff monitor.

Not very good and dull colors. Not impressed...Asus much better

Overall, for the price and size, this monitor is pretty good. It is only 1080p so some games and movies looked a little grainy.The refresh rate is good, I didn't see any blurring during games or movies. It is very bright and has good viewing angles. I don't like that they advertise it has a micro edge so it looks like the picture should go to the very edge but it has about a quarter inch black border. Also the edges have areas of extra bright light that when the screen is black there it really draws your attention. So if you just want a bigger monitor for a reasonable price go for it. If you want something crisp for gaming and watching movies then I suggest getting something a little higher end.

There is no audio jack If you arr planningto use hdmi audio.

Shame on HP for putting their name on these POS junk monitors.

I acquired this as a monitor primarily for use with my Windows desktop machine, and loved the larger size compared to my previous setup. I might wind up using the second HDMI port for hooking up my notebook computer to it as-needed. There was an unexpected benefit when I learned the monitor did appear to have speakers built-in, so sound over HDMI worked fine. The IPS display means that I can view the screen from different angles (i.e. off to the side) and still get a great picture, which sometimes is an issue with flat panels. The monitor surface has more of a glossy finish than my previous display. The stand and frame of the display are also visually appealing. The Full HD resolution is great for most "video" purposes though I know when I try to fit a magazine/newspaper print page reproduction on the screen Full HD in landscape is not 'clear enough' unless you zoom larger than the screen, and unfortunately the stand only supports landscape. The monitor appeared to have no flaws (no bad pixels). Overall, I very much like how this monitor improved the look of my desk.

Overall the monitor is amazing. The graphics look so crisp and sharp. The colors are vivid. The 1080 size really helps make all your gaming and video viewing look outstanding. From a performance standpoint, this gets 5 stars. The set up and hardware is where it takes a hit. The instructions on how to set it up to the mount/stand were so simplistic that it didn't really help me at all with assembling it. I had a very hard time putting the stand on because there was a third part that wasn't included in the instructions. The mount itself is also not adjustable, so you're stuck with the default view. All in all though, I'd strongly recommend this monitor especially if you're an avid gamer, video editor or designer. Great picture!

Great monitor from hp. It's a monitor ok? Big at 31.5" it's great for gaming. 1080p resolution which is fine for most computers and looks great. At it's size that's good enough for me. Not too big though it fits my desk well. Great color and brightness it looks good. Has 2 hdmi ports and 1 vga so it's got you covered for computing. No sound but it's a monitor. Get some speakers. Minimal frame, it doesn't waste space. The picture is really good. I like it.

I have a 31" monitor at work and I love it so I got one for myself. I love that I can now do a split screen without making each item so small my old eyes cant read it. The picture and refresh are perfect for movies- everything is nice and crisp. The only thing I would change is the high gloss. I have to turn off my wall light or I get a BRIGHT reflection. This is a nice addition to my computer desk! Love it!!

There are some very good things about this monitor, but also some downsides. From a setup point of view, doesn't get any easier. takes about 3 minutes from unpacking to up and running... nothing to it. It has 2 HDMI inputs, and one classic-VGA port. The screen is big and bright. Now though, for a modern monitor of this size... some let downs The maximum resolution is 1080p... 1920 x 1080. for some people this is perfect. but for someone thinking of going higher, just isn't going to happen with this. No native USB-C or Display Port inputs, for MacBooks and other laptops. So you will need an adapter of some sorts. No audio output, or usb-ports. The base itself is a little large, but open so you can put stuff on the desk. but there is no vertical adjustment... it is fixed hight. Also no VESA mounting holes, so you can't add an arm or different bracket to this. So if you need to raise it for your head placement, then you are going to have to put it on a shelf. Also visually, for me... the center seems to come out a little bit, visually. Could be my eyes... but it is a little off for me.

I received my first monitor with a frozen/dead pixel. I tried the different methods to fix it. I managed to get it to decrease in size. I called Best Buy for advice. The guy told me that it would be best to exchange it because it might get worse. I had bought it two days prior. I went in and got an exchange with no hassle at all. I really like this monitor. It is huge sitting next to my 27 inch monitors. I am hearing impaired and the Copperfield store is always accommodating and helpful. I shop there a lot because of it.

Works great and as advertised. Would use again. Its not the best but good enough.

The color is vivid and I am satisfied with the quality. I have been using this monitor for my home office for almost 3 years and I didn't have any issues with it so far.
