No frills competent 1440p

I was previously using an HP 25mx monitor which is a 1080p 144hz Freesync display. I was happy with the HP 25mx. The X32 is a physically a lot larger. It feels like the bigger brother to the HP 25mx. I have not done a lot of gaming on it yet, but it seems like it will deliver a similar experience as the HP 25mx. The Freesync refresh is a little higher than the HP 25mx. My only real gripe is that I do not like the buttons for power and adjustments being on the actual back of the display. I wish they were along the bottom of the bezel like the HP 25mx. Still, I am glad I bought this unit. I do use it 8 hours a day for work. I basically drive spreadsheets and SSH connections. I find the display adequate for these long daily stints. I am sure there are better offerings as far as features and display fidelity from other vendors. However, this was on sale for a nice price when I bought it, and it feels like a larger version of what I was using previously. I would recommend for an inexpensive 1440p display capable of work and gaming.

Awesome HP 31.5" IPS QHD AMD monitor

Gaming is great. Streaming movies and watching YouTube have also been a wonderful experience compared to my last 22" monitor from 12 years ago! It is bright and has good refresh rates.

I mounted a pair of these on a 100mm vesa bracket, and plugged the included displayport cord into my dock, windows quickly gave me the option to run them at 2k/120hz. drawbacks: would be nice if they had USB for chaining other devices, or speakers, or could do HDR @ 120.
