Works perfectly! I have an HP laptop and a white table so it meshes well with the rest of my room.

The HP M32F is a 31.5 inch full HD (1080p) monitor. My home office setup are one 27 inch and one 29 inch wide screen monitor. Both are decent and I've been pretty happy with them. The immediate thing you notice taking the M32F out of the box is that this thing is gorgeous, surprisingly lightweight, and pretty much the same size as my existing monitors yet like a more expansive canvas. In fact, it completely fits in the footprint of my 27" monitor while boasting a 31.5" diagonal, a testament to the incredibly tight bezel around the screen. If you're one to use a monitor top mounted webcam. . . hopefully the top clip is unobtrusive (in fact, I've recently switched to using a gooseneck style mount - can easily position the webcam anywhere I want). My office monitor setup as the 29 inch in landscape and 27 inch in portrait. The HP was a perfect replacement for the landscape monitor. Being almost as wide and taller, it's borderline on the size where I could be happy having just a single monitor but for two things. The first, the screen resolution, as mentioned, this is a 1080p screen. It looks good, but at this size for computing/work use versus just being a media or gaming monitor, 4k resolution would be better. Or even something in-between, like the 2580 x 1080 on my 29 inch. With a 4k 31.5" monitor, I could fit multiple full sized windows side by side while still having decent vertical and horizontal space for content. Don't get me wrong, if you're looking for a decently sized 1080p monitor, the M32F delivers, but the resolution feels a bit of a let down to it's size, sleekness, and beauty. The second issue is the lack of VESA mounting. The stand provides decent elevation but constrains placement of this monitor. To be fair, as your single monitor, this is less of a problem. But in a situation where you'd mount it together with a second or need more flexibility with desk surface (mine is also a work surface), not being able to attach this to a monitor arm makes it a deal breaker. Otherwise, this monitor is great. Contrast ratio of 1000:1. Average yes, but still good and more importantly, makes it easier to match the light and feel of this screen to my 27" one. Input-wise you're looking at one VGA and two HDMI, so definitely an office geared monitor. Freesync capable which is nice for Unity development and has a low blue light mode. While I did not personally have that big a use case for it, it seems to be a cool feature and it did help with matching the M32F with my 29" screen when I played around with having two large landscape displays. Brightness is rated at 300 nits which was great for my office. This may seem low by comparison to some smartphones, TVs, or laptop displays but the thing to keep in mind is that those devices need the higher brightness capability to allow the screens to be read in very bright environments, ie outdoors or a well lit/open living room. While my office can get very bright around 1-3pm, the fact is if it's very bright in my office, the sun is also in my eyes and I'll need to draw the shades a bit. So I've yet to encounter a situation where I needed laptop or smartphone level brightness in an office monitor. My rating for this monitor is 3 stars but I think depending on your use case, it could warrant 4. For me, I'd need high resolution and monitor mounting capability to get to 4 stars. For someone ready to make the jump from a couple smaller HD monitors or going directly to a larger one, this could be perfect.

Beautiful monitor, pairs very well with my HP Envy desktop and the price is hard to beat. I must say, HP sells the soundbar separately! This monitor does not have speakers and you need to purchase the soundbar as a separate item.
