    I have only had to change the cartridge once since purchasing the printer. That was 14 months ago. The quality is supreme.

    I have the HP laserjet 478... and I'm giving this a 4 star as opposed to 5star simply because it doesn't seem to last very long..esp the magenta... given the cost of these bad boys, I feel like it should last more than a month and change of regular use. it already past the halfway mark... And that's WITH me selecting Black and white copies as often as I can. my two cents.

    It's toner. It's the manufacturer's toner, so if there's toner that works like the original and won't harm the printer, and is available at retail for immediate use, this is it. Of course, such convenience comes at an outrageous cost.
