Expensive and not long lasting but works well

Non-HP Replacement packs can be bought for substantially less,but the replacements are definitely of a lesser quality. The HP printer has an annoying habit of reminding you every print session, when it detects a non-HP cartridge.

(especially if it only has occasional use and has to undergo maintenance every time it starts up) This smaller ink cartridge seems to last almost as long as the XL cartridges that cost twice as much.

You can buy the black XL ink, but it does not seem to last that much longer for the price. It says it is prints 3 times more pages, but to me it dose not seem to, it cost twice as much too. But it is all you can get, low price for printers and alot of money for ink!!!!

I realize its not an ink jet printer so its not going to last long, but for the price i would hope it lasted longer.
