    I tried using a generic cartridge as it is half the price of the genuine ink and it didn't work as expected. The print quality was low and the printer message kept displaying error. After I purchased this high yield ink my printer went back to 100%. For the price I would strongly recommend to go with genuine ink ALWAYS! At Best Buy you will find most of the ink for the most common printers and they even price match if you find it at lower cost anywhere else.
