    I learned my lesson many years ago when buying ink for printers. Don't use the cheap refill brands or try to refill the cartridges yourself. I have tried that in the past & the small amount I save usually ends up costing me more when my printer gets messed up. HP makes good cartridges and buying the XL capacity cartridges is worth the extra money. They last a long time.

    I've tried other brands of printers as well as generic ink, and Hewlett Packard printers are always reliable, easy to change ink cartridges and clear any jams (although I haven't had any with my HP printers). Likewise, the ink is great! True, brilliant colors and with my HP printer, I always know when I need to refill.

    Let's face it we all get taken to the cleaners when it comes to the cost of ink cartridges so all we can do is separate the good ink cartridges from the not so good ones. I have tried other ink/printer products other than HP, and have been sorely disappointed. I have also tried the ol' refil the old ink cartridges as well. Nothing works as well as using new ink cartridges that are meant for the specific printer you own. I highly recommend HP.
