    Bad Customer Service

I bought 4 ink cartridges for my HP Printer. When I tired to install them, I got an error message saying the ink cartridges were not authentic. About 1 week later when I had the time, I tried to return the defective ink cartridges to Best Buy Aiea. At the customer service desk, I was met by store manager Shaun Troop who told me that once a ink cartridge is opened, they cannot take it back. I tried to explain that they were defective and I had just bought it. I told him if that is their policy I might as well buy ink from Costco now. How can you buy ink, then it doesn't work, and you are stuck with a defective item? Anyway one of their technicians tested it out and it read as empty. How could it be empty when it was new and I never even used it? To make a long story short, I bought 4 ink, they didn't work, and now I am stuck with ink that doesn't work and about $80. This would not happen at the Honolulu location where there is a different store manager who really makes your shopping experience a great one.

I always go for the XL HP inks for saving money

I've had different printers but I always go back to the HP's. When buying ink, go for the XL - extra large - cartridges as they're a smarter way to buy & save your money vs. regular size. HP inks do what they are supposed to do - brilliant color & clarity.. Best Buy is the only place I buy my inks. Great prices & great service - I buy on-line and pick up in store. It's the easiest & most convenient way to buy when you know what you want & you just want to go into the store and pick up your item without hassles or having to walk around to get your item. Get more cash back by starting at upromise.com, and shopping Best Buy through there, where they give you up to 5% of your purchase back in cash through their partnership with Best Buy.

I've been pretty happy with these ink cartridges. I've been buying them for 4 different HP printers (myself, my mom, and two daughters). They do tend to run out quickly, so I began buying the most expensive XL's just to minimized the number of trips to buy new ones. Obviously, all ink cartridges are overpriced, which these at or near the top of that heap. And they really should compensate buyers if they choose to recycle old cartridges to offset costs of new cartridges. But its a racket that has been going on for many many years and is unlikely to change anytime soon. I've often wondered if the printer ink liquid, ounce for ounce, is far more expensive than high end perfumes but have never done the math on it.

The blank ink cartridge was apparently old and was not functional. I tried to return it to Best Buy but they said it had to be returned to the vendor, Hewlett Packard, which is what I did. They replaced the defective cartridge in fairly quick order. At first I was unhappy that Best Buy would not give me a replacement and directed me to Hewlett Packard, but this is apparently their usual modus operandi. It would seem that they as the seller would want to take the issue up with Hewlett Packard rather than making me, the customer, the one who did.

We bought the ink cartridge and when we put it into our printer the ink was splotchy and skipped on the paper. We took it back to Best Buy to exchange it for another cartridge but was told at the Service Desk that they don't take the cartridges back, we would have to deal with HP directly. I wanted only to exchange the cartridge and not want my money back. The service attendant inferred that I probably put the old cartridge in the box and was trying to cheat them. I WOULD NEVER DO THAT. I was hurt and will NEVER buy another cartridge at Best Buy.

I absolutely love the HP ink (especially the XL cartridges). I do print quite a bit from home. This blank ink is great on photos as well as my documents. Never any problems. I've learned to "save" ink by keeping my printer OFF unless I'm going to use it. When it turns on each time I turn on my desk top, I found that my ink was disappearing. Realized that every time you turn it on, a bit of ink is used to "prime" the nozzles. Once I figured that out, I've gotten lots more usage from my ink cartridges. Thanks HP!

Needed the 'whole color' ensemble for my HP printer ASAP....went online, and saw that B.B.'s prices for each was quite competitive, plus check-out indicated that I could do a P/U immediately at my local store. When I went to Customer Service, after having received the 'heads up email', the wait time was minimal. Too, the quality of each color cartridge is WAY BETTER than the 'so-called same items' that I'd bought @ Walmart for the first time. Nope, never again....gotta stick with BB!

This cartridge has worked very well for me. It is long lasting and gives a brilliant color when printing. I do wish that the 564XL cartridges would be packaged as a complete product. You can purchase the 3 cartridges required for my color printer but only in one package that has the 3 colors needed for my printer but they are not the XL size. The package also includes a small amount of photo paper in either 5X7 or 4X6 size. Being able to purchase the XL color cartridges in one package would be a great improvement.

    OEM Ink Cheaper than HP

I have 3 printers that take 564 ink, so any time I can save a bit I jump at it. HP even lets you know you can buy from Best Buy, and BB is several $$$ cheaper than HP. Shipping is free from either, so lower price wins. I could buy at the Navy Exchange, tax free, but that requires a 12-mile round trip with attendant time, fuel, and vehicle wear expenditures. Of course I could use aftermarket ink refills, but I've never had much luck with them. All things considered, this was the best option.

I have an HP printer and this is the only ink cartridge that works with my printer, I have no issues or difficulties with these cartridges working with my printer, it's just the prices for them sucks, they are way too high. I will only purchase these if they are on some kind of sale or discount, unless I ABSOLUTELY need them right away.

I've been using HP ink for a long time. I thought my new printer which takes five cartridges (photo black, black, red, blue, yellow) would at least longer. But instead, it seems like I have a color issue every other time I try to print a minor graphic. I then waste half the cartridge cleaning the cartridge or doing test pages. For the price, I think I should get much more ink.. The color is otherwise very good.

There isn't much to say about an HP cartridge other than that it works. There IS something to be said about individual color ink cartridge printers, in general, though. They are the better option if you do photos often. In my case, I go through the "blue" quickly because of our persistently blue skies. I shudder to think of how many all-color cartridges would have been tossed before the rest of the colors were gone.

I usually buy the trio pack of ink, and I like to keep spares so I never run out. The last time I replaced the cyan, the magenta and yellow were still almost full, so I didn't want to buy the trio this time. It's so nice that Best Buy gives you a choice to buy all 3 in a package or the individual colors, one at a time! I was also able to use a reward coupon that was going to expire soon.

I thought the printer was shot. once the ink dried, and i scraped the ink off the rollers and replaced it with hp ink. everything is well again. saving is not saving if you need to replace a printer. by the XL is cheaper then no XL. look at how many pages you get be for you buy.

I've tried buying those inks that are sold cheaper. The ones that are refilled & resold. Those inks cannot compare to HP inks! It seems they run out of ink, a pop up often comes up saying "printer is low on ink", when it clearly isn't! So you never know when you really are out of ink! Also, seems like those cheap inks, print a lot lighter than the HP ink!

My printer takes the usual three colors PLUS black and although I usually print BLACK, My blue color seems to run out quickly. I don't understand why BUT I buy the blue XL ink when it runs out before my other two colors. This ink in XL seems to fill in the void until I actually need to replace my other colors. The price is a good value too,

I was having trouble using my HP printer without this product and it seemed nothing would print that required cyan. My initial thought was to avoid purchasing this to avoid their extremely high prices but to my dismay all the pages I printed were missing color. Now that I have this product I am having a lot of success printing anything that is all cyan!!!!!

Yep, just a thing of plain ole' ink jet ink. It prolly costs more to keep buying these things than to just buy a whole new printer, but where's the economic sense in that? Anyway, yeah, it's ink, it works, I hate buying it. But, you get a discount at Best Buy when you use your Reward Zone Credit Card, so it makes it less of a bummer. Yep. Ink.

Once you enter this into a printer, you can not switch it to another printer. This means every time you run out of a color and have two printers taking the same number cartridge you cannot replace it if you already loaded it into another. Guess they are tagged with the original insertion. This makes for a lot of expense, cheaper to buy a new printer!

We tend to go through a fair amount of ink at my house. My wife has been printing maps for our D&D game lately, and that goes through it quick. We blew through a set of the non XL versions of this ink cartridge in about a week's time. This seems to be holding up a lot better. And the cost is not a lot more than the regular sized ones.
