Ink Cartridges Offer Sufficient Print Quality

If you're running low on printer ink, you may as well cough up the few extra dollars to get the two-in-one cartridge packs. They get the job done efficiently enough. Remember that the colors won't pop as well as one might like on lower-quality paper, and it's always good to have extra sheets lying around whenever you have a last-minute project. Also, how often you print will determine how long they will last. I usually exhaust both the black and color cartridges after six months with relatively frequent printing. If you require an extensive amount of printed material, you might want to grab another pair, though.

The original HP ink cartridges don't last very long or the printer ink level indicator is not very accurate. It shows about 20% of the ink left but prints are unreadable. The black ink is much worst than the color. To get a decent amount of prints you have to get an extra large size cartridge, however they're very expensive. Other than that the printer is great. Unfortunately the HP discontinued that particular great looking model a while ago. There is nothing similar on the market to replace it.

I tried to lower the cost of having to buy original ink and I went for a refill instead but I wasn't happy at all. The quality of the printing wasn't so bad with the refill but I kept getting errors from my printer and couple of times it just wouldn't work. So needles to say I decided to go back to the original. You pay more but no regrets and no more errors, I wished it was more affordable but totally worth it.

Like all other brands of printers (canon, epson, brother, etc.) HP ink cartridges do not last long at all. I'm sure this is why printers are so cheap because companies know that once you have their printer you'll be spending unbelievable amounts of money on cartridges. On top of this - my HP printer will not print in black and white without a working color cartridge installed so if I don't use a lot of color it will eventually dry up and need to be replaced anyway. Ridiculous.

These cartridges last a long time and the printing quality is excellent. They might be a little more expensive than some stores, but it is so worth it. I've only had one problem with them in the many years that I've been purchasing them (when the ink seemed to run out very quickly), but Best Buy stands behind their products and gave me another cartridge immediately.

When it comes to purchasing ink, it does not last long, I'm a super couponer. I print about 250+ pages weekly. I wish HP & Best Buy had a program to refill ink for the amount you print monthly, like the the office shop stores ( not naming names). I'm also a Best Buy Citi card member, which would make my choosy, shopping a whole lot easier. Other than my options, I have no complaints, love this product and it's quality features. Thank you

I always research my purchases and ink is no exception, Best Buy is where I end the search due to availability and price ! On a side note, I wish the ink cartridge would last longer or maybe be made better as I tend to find a good quantity of ink has leaked out when the cartridge is in the idle position. Otherwise 5 stars !

I hate having to buy these. I wish I could just get rid of my printer all together. I typically buy one set a year. I use my printer so infrequently, my old cartridges typically clog up and stop working. I have tried all the tricks to clean them and none are very reliable. This set I plan to remove when not using and store them in the fridge in a Tupperware like container per the HP instructions.

I bought this ink bundle for my printer and it worked perfectly. Since, this is a genuine brand there wasn't any errors when I installed the new cartridges. However, my printer did require me to align the cartridges and paper, which took less than 5 minutes. Overall, this bundle was much cheaper than buying the black and color ink seperately. Best Buy members would only pay $29.99+ tax for this ink bundle.

I've found when replacing the ink cartridges on any HP printer, do yourself a favor and stick with the factory replacements, they're better quality, last longer, and are a bargain in the long run...........there are several options from various sources, but the OEM's are far superior. This combo pak is a sweet deal for my older printer, they have always been great. Highly recommended

Purchased this ink and 2 weeks later when I installed it, no ink in the cartridge. Took it back to Store, they wouldn’t replace it, was told to contact HP. Still trying to contact them. Really disappointed with this purchase. Won’t buy ink from Best Buy anymore due to shelf life!

This is the ink that my printer calls for, but I like the multipack because it saves me time. I don't run out of black ink and colored ink at the same time, so with the multipack I have a cartridge on hand, and I don't have to run out to the store to buy another cartridge right at that moment.

I love buying the package, great quality and guaranteed ink for the many copies advertised. After tired of buying substitutes to this product that don't last or work properly I am sticking with name brand, I find it at bestbuy at a great price and earn points on top. What else could anybody ask for? I highly recommend this product purchase at bestbuy.

Package looked old as if had sat on the shelf for an extended period of time. Is functioning properly in my printer; I am interested in seeing how long it will function. I have three HP printers and BB only had ONE cartridge (really only ONE box) than fit my printers. Store has an extremely poor selection and may be older cartridges and price is on the high side.

I love HP Printers for ease of use and beautiful printing. I hate that every model has its own cartridge that is uninterchangeable. Can this be simplified? I’ve got 4 HP printers and they each require a different cartridge. Cartridge 60 is fine. So’s cartridge 61...For the price, I was tempted to just buy a new printer. Hmmmmm.....

      HP Team

      Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you got so few copies from the cartridges. It does seem like you should have gotten many more!

Provided the cartridge is not damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints (such as photos) will require more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.

I'm wondering if the cartridges stopped because they need to be cleaned. That is an easy process. You can check the user guide if you are uncertain how to start the automatic process.

If that helps, the printer might have been turned off using a power strip or switch. The printer should always be turned off using the power button on the printer itself. That will let the printer 'park' so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying. The drying can cause clogs to form in the tiny nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper.

If that does not help, it is probable that the cartridge is defective, and you can:
      - ask the seller for a replacement,
      - contact us if a defective genuine HP cartridge is not replaced by the seller (and is still within the warranty end dates on the cartridge) you can reach us for support at: hp.com/contactHP

Had a best buy gift card to purchase this product. Prices don't fluctuate much between competitors on this type of product. Overall, any newly purchased ink cartridges work 100% of the time. The only questionable thing for all INK cartridges is whether they truly output 100% of the ink so you get your money's worth.

I have a 12 year old Deskjet F4280 printer, copier, scanner BestBuy has the best price and I don't need to go looking for other stores that carry the HP brand. I have tried other brands and recycled printer inks and they don't work or give good copy.

I waited for approximately 6 weeks for this! As soon as I knew it was coming out I started checking everyday to see if I could pre order! I have a couple apps that don't seem to be transferred property or completely! Other than that I am completely happy with it! I have a lot more to learn about it but so far it is everything it claims to be!

These run out of ink quickly if used frequently and dry-out making them useless if not used frequently enough. That's frustrating when your computer indicates there is still ink left when you're trying to print, but the paper comes out blank. I will likely invest in a Laser printer when I'm ready to purchase a new one.
