    It's expensive. I wrote basically the same review for the black ink cartridge. If you own a printer that uses this ink cartridge, I highly recommend this cartridge since it's one of the two that are made to be used in your machine.

    You have to have this ink in order to get your printer to print right. When you set your printer to only use black ink somehow the color still runs out. This can be frustrating but not the inks fault.

    For HP products it is almost a must to use their printer ink, using others can cause problems. I think they are extremely expensive for what you get, but you really don't have a choice unless you purchase a more efficient printer.

    This printer is used for school by my teenage son. My son uses dropbox and does not print much. This ink is good quality but does not last long. Unfortunately, it is the only option for the HP printer we have.

    I had no idea that Best Buy, could beat the Discount store price for HP 61 ink , But it did ! so when ever I need ink I will be going to Best Buy , It is all about saving money for me ,

    I recently had to purchse a new printer because I used some 'knock off" cheaper cartridges and ruined the print head. It is not worth it and wound up costing me money, not saving it.
