    It's what my hp deskjet 2050 uses. Only thing I wish is that it lasted longer. I feel like I get about 25-30 prints at most and it's done!

    Installed correctly, tested as p/instructions, all ok. Printed fine for approx 1 week, then Reds became pink - green became pale blueish, etc. Took cartridge back to Best Buy where purchased appox 1st week of Aug & asked if they had a printer we could use the cartridge to show how it was printing. After checking no printers were available that use HP 61 tricolor. I was told I needed a new printer and no offer of a free replacement. Not possible to add & drop picture fr iphone.

      Hi,

      I am sorry that the cartridge isn't printing well now. It sounds like it is running out of red and yellow ink and that is why the colors are not correct any more.

      Perhaps if you tried the store again, with this information, they will help. Otherwise, you can try contacting Best Buy about a return.

      According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

    These are very inexpensive and easy to install. I have had no problems at all with these and have purchased several over the past year. They last a long time and print out with no problems with smearing or anything.

    I've refilled ink cartridges before but I still like the new ones better. Prices aren't that different anymore either, at least not from what I've seen. Sometime I still think that it's almost better to buy a new printer than to pay the price for some ink cartridges so its always a good idea to check the price of replacement ink before you buy a printer. This one is still much cheaper on the replacement ink than some I've seen!!
