    Having owned several printers over the years, this has been the best printer so far, and I owe it to the ink cartridges that go in it. I've only purchased the HP OEM cartridges for this printer and have never had any issues. I can't say the same for the cheaper knockoffs I've purchased in the past. Highly recommend!

    The HP Black XL ink cartridges are the only ones I buy. You get more ink for your money, and you get approximately 200 to 300 more pages of printing depending on how many pages you print. If you want a great deal on ink cartridges, the Black XL HP ink cartridges are the best value for your money.

    I use the standard size color and the XL B&W cartridges. Together, they last a total of about the same amount of printing - almost a year. Much better than the Canon I have that would use a bunch of color cartridges at the same rate as the B&W - even when I'm only using Black
