    Make printers great again!

I've been noticing that my printer had been getting lazy. The pages were not as sharp as they once were. The colors were fading. At first I wanted to be selective on what colors would be able to enter my printer. The black ink was always my hardest working color, so it only made sense to ban all other colors from entering my printer as I didn't have much use for them. After a while I realized when I wanted to print a color picture that the colors were faded, as well as the black. I was angry as I rarely used the color inks. Why would they just sit around in my printer taking up space, and the rare occasion I call upon them they fail to help me...sad. So I called up hp bing bing bing, and they told me that the colors were likely faded because my black ink had ran low long ago. The color ink had been working together to create black for me so that I would never be disappointed with the printer. It had never dawned on me that my printer was great not because of one color, but because of how all the colors could work together to make the whole device great. From that point on I realized that I need to equally rely on each color to get the job done and not to just expect that one color is bad because I don't see its beauty until I tell it to work. It had always been working to show me its beauty when it had been working with cyan and yellow! This is why I recommend the multi color pack.

HP printers have always been my go-to when I'm not sure which printer to buy. They are very reliable, easy to use, and offer enough features for just about everyone except the expert photographers out there. Where they consistently fall short is their cartridges. Even though the print quality is very good they do not last long if you are trying to print high-quality photographs. I found the cartridges last longer if you select draft quality on your printer obviously, but the pictures suffer clarity and sharpness to a point where even an untrained eye can spot a huge difference. Overall, if you don't mind shelling out the money to purchase cartridges frequently then I would recommend HP printers, however don't expect to print out quality pics of that family vacation with just 1 cartridge. Luckily, installing the cartridges is a fast and easy process. Note: I feel like I have to mention the fact the printer will not work even in black and white if one of the color cartridges is empty. Pretty annoying feature that is built into the printer software/driver. Can't help to think it's simply a way to get you to buy more cartridges...

I'm going out on a limb to say that HP ink is probably going to be your best bet in an HP printer,.. I will say that those little inkjet cartridges last as long as a laser cartridge in the Dell all in one I had that was supposed to serve an office, but it did hold 3 reams of paper, but it was high maintenance. I actually bought this ink because I was enrolled in HP's instant ink program and my black ink was getting down to the bottom of the barrel and I thought hey had forgotten me or something because I waited and waited and waited and sure enough the night I came home with these ink cartridges, there was a black on in the mail.. Oh well, I'm in the middle of building a site and I'm not IT brains, but not a computer idiot either, so I have had to do quite a bit of printing directions to follow so it all worked out!!

Great product, great prices and helpful staff. I recently needed to buy a printer after many years of not having one at home, my mistake was going to two box chains close to home, ended up buying one and was very happy until the sample cartridge needed to be replaced. Went back to said chain to try and buy cartridge. What a joke, couldn't find cartridges, asked for help and was told that boy will help you when he is done, no one else would make eye contact even though several people were putting up a display of gift cards for Christmas It was Columbus Day. Needless to say I was not happy, pulled out phone looked up prices and saw Best Buy was was 20 dollars cheaper up the highway I went, I was greeted at the door, asked if I needed assistance confirmed it was right item and pulled up the info so I also saved 5%. I will never make the mistake of starting at Best Buy

    INK STINKS

When I purchased the Envy printer, it was because it could copy and print photographs. When I got the printer home and started using it on material other than photographs, I only got 16 pages of color copy. I returned to the store and was told I probably had a "complimentary" ink cartridge in the printer. I had to buy this full ink because my "automatic" ink supply wasn't set up yet. I got home and - yep - I only got 16 color prints before my ink was out! Even though my printer was set up to receive the automatic ink supply - that hasn't arrived and it's been 2 weeks since I was out of ink. NOT HAPPY WITH PRINTER OR INK...Where did they get the 80 to 100 copies??? 16 copies is hardly enough to get a day's worth of homework done!

I would not usually review a printer ink cartridge but my recent experience with a "not-HP" printer made me rethink my position. I purchased a "not-HP" printer and extra cartridges as the printer size seemed ideal for my small desk. I immediately had trouble inserting the cartridges as they needed to be "gently shaken" and inserted "just right" - it took 2 tries for the starter cartridges but I figured it was a learning curve. When I inserted the full size black cartridge, all the shaking and carefully inserting did nothing and I could not get the very expensive cartridge to work. It was cheaper to buy another printer. The HP cartridges are very easy to install and replace. I won't switch brands again! Lesson learned.

I shopped for this item in several places and I was skeptical that it would be cheaper at Best Buy than anywhere else. Despite my doubts and being significantly traumatized by the prices I was finding, I included Best Buy in my comparison shopping. I am pleased to say I came home with this item after going to Best Buy. It was far cheaper than the other places I had gone and it was both the black and color cartridges in one box for the same price I would have paid to purchase just one. Half what I would have paid elsewhere. Nice find, especially with the holidays approaching and money being...somewhat elusive.

I am very pleased with the purchase of the HP 62 Ink Combo pack. These packs make it so much easier for a consumer's daily life. The fact that the two needed cartridges are combined into one package saves time and plus the HP ink cartridges are clean to handle and produce clean prints on both glossy photo paper and regular printer paper. I would recommend HP printers and corresponding ink to any consumer who is looking to purchase a reliable addition to their home office.

I am using this TV without a soundbar in a quiet apartment in the middle of the city of Los Angeles. I usually sit approximately 12 feet away from the TV and the sound quality is adequate at low levels in most scenarios. Sometimes I have to crank it up to nearly 3/4 the max volume to be able to hear it well, especially when I have the balcony door open and the city noises are louder than usual. I don't see myself needing a soundbar at this point. Only time will tell. The picture quality is why I got the TV. It's a cut above what I saw on Samsung and LG TVs and I'm very please either it.

Not BB fault but made trip to buy two ink cartridges . School started it's Labor Day and I have to return one $60 ink...the cartridge was in blister pack is not functioning . Thank God other one is I'd be sunk I already have 2 papers due. Yes I can run them off at school probably cheaper but not the point. Why i was in HP ink program but never comes on time does not calculate paper usage real time . Gutenberg printing press might work I'll look on eBay . Just venting time money gas wasted . Wish could just email to professor more green.

This is a must have product if you own the acomponing printer. The said printer had an error saying that it was out of just color cartridge, but would not print just black. I replaced color cartridge and still no black even though printer said black cartridge was at 37%. I then replaced black ink an color ink cartridge and voila! Black printing perfect. I believe this to be an error on both printer and cartridges. Ink is now the most expensive thing on the planet by volume! Also a huge error/mistake, or is it planned obsolescence?

I decided to buy ink while at the store and checked the box for my printer model# since I hadn't checked the cartridge number before I left for the store. Turns out HP give identical #'s to completely different printer models, just InkJet or OfficeJet in front of the number is different. Speaking of different, how difficult is it to use different model numbers for different printers?? Best Buy was great and allowed me to exchange even though ink had been opened and tried using in the printer since it actually fit. Trick is bring back ALL the packaging.

The product does what it needs to do. Just popped it in, and viola it works! My only non-product issue was the price. I checked online to see if it was in stock before going to the store. When I got to the store to purchase the ink and the price was $5-10 higher than it was online...why? Bestbuy matched it but checkout took 5 more minutes because they had to look it up and a manager had to approve it. Overall no problems but check the Bestbuy website for a better deal.

The print quality is good, even when printing photos. However, I reserve the right to change my mind on this evaluation once this printer has been used for a few more months. It is the first refill of ink with this new HP printer 7640. I'm hoping this printer behaves better than the HPEnvy110 I had - it used to reject the HP ink refills saying the printer cartridges failed the alignment procedure, even after cleaning the contacts, wasting a great deal of money. But for now, so far, so good.

HP has obviously reduced the amount of ink in their cartridges. These are good for about 200 pages, total, much less than we used to get from HP cartridges in a variety of printers. That's both a good and bad thing. They cost a little less than what we are used to and we don't have to worry about the ink drying out, but we do have to change them more often. Ink cartridges are the razor blades of today; you get the printer for a low price, then spend a fortune in cartridges. Oh, well.

I previously used another HP printer cartridge for my prior HP printer. I had no issues with the ink used... an occasional "bad cartridge", and that was directly from HP. So far HP Cartridge #62 is working fine. Haven't used my printer too much, but the ink will be put to the test more vigorously in the coming months! I like the convenience of the HP ink products, readily available from different stores, the cost while not cheap, is discounted depending on where you are able to purchase from.

Why put "off brand" ink in a printer that you purchased for more than the cost of an ink cartridge? Never had a problem with HP inks. Cannot say the same for other refill choices. And PS - Do Not enrol in HP automatic ink replacement program unless you consume mass quantities of ink - like a cartridge a month. Best Buy has a discount program for HP ink. Ends up less cost than the HP automatic refills and you can run to the store the minute you run out and not wait 5 days!

HP has a good gig here as well as the other printer companies. I purchased this entire printer with the ink for 125 and already in two years have spent more than that on the ink - and I don't print much. I need to find a cheaper proven generic although haven't yet as HP makes you worry it will damage the printer unless you use theirs.

Bought this ink ahead of time that I needed it. When printer ran out of the black I replaced it with this black, printer still wouldn’t print black. Tried other things to get it to work but it wouldn’t so I put another new black in and it works fine. Took bad ink to store and they said it was opened and more then 15 days since I bought it. So I am out of luck.
