I’m not sure what the major differences between the numbers are besides the size and series but I’ve been using this ink for years and it’s never let me down. I usually only print shipping labels and it’s noticeable when it’s time for a replacement cartridge before the printer even lets you know. It was easy to install.

HP 63 Black Ink

But upon using, it would print out a test page every time I printed something. That wastes ink and uses more! Not sure if that's common or operater error; my (adult) daughter may have pushed the button a few times to produce the test print page and since it didnt come out right away, it probably stored and came out with each other prints. Also upon printing I'd get a message tell me "Counterfeit Cartridge Detected". It kept coming up until I bypassed it somehow. I was going to call Best Buy to ask if both these situations were common, but eventually those issues went away. After all that it's working great. **I had two photos of the "counterfeit" error message but only one uploaded. due to space.

Easy to install in my printer. Last long vs cheaper products that seem to run out of ink much more quickly. Recommended for your HP printer.

It produces rich, sharp prints with minimal clogging. Installation is easy, and it lasts a long time. Highly recommend for quality printing!

At this time I only needed the black ink.
