Mad..policy overruled customer

I spoke with manager at local store but there was nothing that could be done. Just lost my money...and still had to buy another cartridge. Uggh

It is dreadful that you are going through this situation with your cartridges. The most immediate action to take is to check the ink levels in your printer. You may think a cartridge is empty. Often, it is clogged or dry. For these scenarios, gently clean the printhead of the cartridge with a wet cotton swab. Reinserting cartridges helps a printer recognize them. It's a quick fix for cartridges that seem empty but are not depleted. Save on the cost of printing by using draft or print preview mode. Bad Hp-65 Standard Tri-Color Ink Cartridge.

I removed the cartridge problem and reinstalled a number of times but still had an error. I purchased another cartridge from another store.

Falsely advertised

Website indicated this would be an exact fit for my printer, printer does not accept this cartridge and thus it’s totally useless to me. Packaging is as such that you can’t open the product and reseal so little hope of an even exchange.

Not enough ink in cartridge,

I'm sorry to hear that you are running out of ink quickly. That sounds frustrating.
Unless the cartridge was damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints (such as photos and graphs) will use up more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage:
- You can use the printer's draft mode and black-only settings, whenever possible, to save ink.
- Shutting the printer down between uses can also help; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That lets it ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.
- Instant Ink might be worth trying. The subscription plans are based on how many pages you print. You can check out the details at: HPinstantink.com
When it seems that the low page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, it is always an option to contact the seller about a replacement or refund.

I am so sorry you had an unpleasant time with these color cartridges. While I can't change the price of the ink, I can share some ink-saving strategies. It's going to make a large difference.
- Buy XL cartridges. They are bigger and therefore reduce the need to buy new cartridges. - I would suggest turning off the printer to "park" the cartridge from outside air and dust.
- I think your case would benefit from using the black ink only setting.
- You might want to decrease the print quality setting to save ink.
-Monitoring the air temperature, humidity, and dryness will help limit the environmental conditions causing the dried cartridges.

Disappointed

I understand your sentiments after receiving those results. I apologize that the cartridge didn't last longer than ten pages. Cartridges last between two hundred and four hundred pages, depending on use. Fewer pages result when printing photos, graphics, tables, charts, and other ink-intensive items. Thicker paper also results in lower yields. You may have gotten unlucky and gotten a defective cartridge as well.
