    Perfect every time. It lasts long enough to keep you from feeling you are always replacing it, and my wife and I print lots of research articles, so it is no sissy, this XL. This hasn't clogged, and I don't care about the price, which stings, because it does well. I hate lazy engineers and crappy engineering, and uneven quality production methods the worst. Well, they ducked it with me, after 9 some years with the 8600 printer. One thing - use decent print paper. Not copy paper.

    I used to buy the original 65 but with my son printing regularly for school assignments, I was replacing the ink regularly. The 65XL is a little more money but definitely worth it for us. Easy to pop in the printer. No issues with the prin cartridge and it lasts longer.

    I bought the high yield ink cartridge because it lasts longer than the standard which saved you more trips to go but more ink cartages, spend the extra money and get the high yield. it fits in the printer just the same.

    The best value in ink cartridges is the HP - 65XL High-Yield Ink Cartridge - Tri-Color cartridge. The extra ink in each one is so much more than the standard size cartridges contain & of course, Best Buy always has the very lowest prices for all your ink needs. I must add that I also always purchase my HP printers at Best Buy & nobody beats their prices.

    I have a small HP AIO (Deskjet 3755). I don't do a lot of printing, but when I do I need the ink to be available. The XL size holds a lot of ink, but the cartridges don't dry out over the months that I typically have have them installed in my printer. The ink lays down consistently, until the cartridge is actually low on ink.
