Y'know, I thought my printer was great when I bought it, making 2D prints and all. I could prototype all sorts of things, from unframed plagiarism to place mats, even doilies! One day, that started to change as the colors and lines streaked and dotted. Eventually, all my printer could do was make fresh paper. When I found this little gem, I was flabbergasted! Who knew this thing just ran on ink? After painstakingly rummaging through the heap of x-mas trash in the closet, I found the manual and sure enough, the maker had cleverly designed a way to get more ink into my beloved contraption! All I had to do was go to the store and pay at least half the cost of the printer itself to get these brilliant refills. Everyone should know about this!

    Ink-A-Dink a Bottle of Ink

Usually I order recycled or refill ink, and may again, however this ink is vastly superior. The colors print so vividly and tru to screen. I often enhance photos so I like to say "Better-Then-Life". I reprinted a picture that was recently printed with "refill" ink any eye could see the difference. I also do a cleaning and head alinement when I get new ink. I don't know why but it was markedly quicker. The picture looks like my screen without any adjustments that can be a pain. It's nice to know that the Cartrage is new and all contacts are fresh and clean. Yes the price is almost triple but there are definite advantages with the premium ink. Things look so much better. After all that's what it's about looking at pictures.

I have enjoyed the ink cartridges and have purchased the 74 and 75 ink cartridges for over seven years and hope these ink cartridges will be available for a little time to come. I love the brightest and lasting color I get when printing pictures or colored documents. The black print is also rich and doesn't fade out. I will continue to purchase these ink cartridges. However I also like the XL cartridges which gives and extended printing life and a great price for the price. I have also found that Best Buy offers the best price of all the surroundings stores in the area. There is always an ample supply of product on hand.

Call HP if you have a problem

We all know it is just ink. But when my HP printer said it does not recognize my new HP ink cartridge my jaw dropped. 20 years + of HP happiness and I never had a problem with a cartridge failing to recognize. I tried to take it back to Best Buy and they said they could not replace it. And that I had to contact HP. Search "HP customer support" and you should get a phone number. From there I had to jump through a few locations to get to the right support team but eventually I landed with a team that helped replace the cartridge. HP lived up to their top notch reputation for me. So if you have a problem, call HP.

A decent value in today's ink jet cartridge market

To be honest, I've pretty much had my fill of ink jet printers that use alcohol-based ink cartridges like this. I don't feel like I ever get full value as they dry out fairly soon, especially if not used regularly. I've switched to a Canon all-in-one that uses water-based ink for that reason. That said, this cartridge set is a decent value considering other options. It's a superior ink to others on the market and does a nice job across a variety of print applications from documents to photos on multiple paper stocks.

You can't always count on your black and color cartridges running out at the same time, but it does happen now and then. So why not save a little money and buy this combo pack, like I do? If the black cartridge in the printer is flat, then just use the black replacement. You will need the color cartridge soon enough. HP cartridges are made for HP printers and I've never had a problem with my printer or the ink packs. They're both great. And if you're a Best Buy Elite you get a discount.

I have been using H P printers for over 20 years and always use their inks. I did have some problems a couple years back with the color cartridge changing colors (going "muddy" looking). I hadn't been using the printer much, but the ink was still within the "best before" date. My last 2 cartridges have been fine, though … maybe a faulty batch. The ink IS a little expensive, but I guess that's why the printers are reasonably inexpensive. I do plan on staying with HP.

Best HP 74/75 Ink out there! Nothing Compares!

Nothing else is recommended by the manufacturer either. I was tired of using the counterfeit ink refill kits. I am glad I purchased my proprietary HP 74/75 ink cartridges here. Beside the convenient location, price and availability, I am also earning reward points! I put this on my BB credit card so I earned even more. Can;t say enough about it!

HP Is Not Supplying Full Ink Cartrages

The last two years I’ve been purchasing hp ink cartages for my printer. Lately I noticed they are only getting a few prints before it reads low ink. I might get a month out of the cartages before I have to replace it. I’m purchasing a printer that’s not hp. If I have to spend $40-60 on ink cartages a new printer will pay for it self. Perhaps a printer that does not have multiple software requirements to run one piece of hardware.

It's a bit of a challenge to review ink cartridges...they're not glitzy, glamorous, fun or anything like that. BUT they are critical if u print anything! Have used these specific cartridges for years; they always print cleanly, w/o smudges . I'm grateful Best Buy still stocks them as they're older technology....thank u, Best Buy!! However, I'd be even more grateful if u stocked the extra size. Thanks again!!

    Great duo Pack

I love the fact that these two products are put together in one pack.  It saves money and time.  All I have to do is order one thing.  I've had so many problems with trying to find ink cartriges in the past.  This solved all of the problems by packing them together and it probably  is a good thing that they are both compatable with the same printer too!  I will definatly buy this product again!

It's HP ink and this time it is working. For whatever reason, the prior color cartridge, although properly installed, did not work. The printer kept sending a notice that the cartridge had not been installed. That is the only time I had that problem. But the cartridges can drain awfully fast. There is truly no choice but to use HP's own ink. When I have tried the knock-off brands, the print is lousy.

I have been purchasing HP ink for over 15 years now. Through Best Buy i receive an additional 20% off for being a rewards member. This reduces the price even more than the lower competitors price. It is also advantages to purchase the combo pack of HP ink of color/black because it is usually less expensive than buying each separate. The quality and consistency are above standard.

I purchased one box and the cartridges were defective. I had to argue with the in store customer service department who would not help me. Fortunately the manager allowed me to get an exchange. The second pack of cartridges worked fine. I have purchased several of the same cartridges over the years and this was the first defective one.

It works just as it should. It's ink, not much to say about it. I've had my printer for some time and it may be related to it but it seems that these cartridges don't last as long as they used to. I really don't print out that much stuff but the color cartridge seems like it needs to be replaced much more often than I remember in the early days of ownership.

I purchased a twin pack and was very disappointed with performance....the color runs out after only 15-20 copies of black and white documents. To add insult to injury, I bought another pack and same thing happened! Made a Best Buy associate aware of my problem, but was told I would have to contact HP. No resolution.

The product is a good product but of coarse HP is always good. I just wish the price was a little lower. Especially since I can only Find the Black cartridge by itself but cannot seem to find the color cartridge by itself so I have to buy this pack when I get low on color. Even if I do not need black yet.

I used to buy my ink at Staples, but they require you to spend $60 plus and other ridiculous requirements for a discount or points. However, since I started buying my ink at Best Buys, there's no limit to what I can purchase and my points accumulate. A $5 reward coupon comes in handy when all I need is a black ink refill. Best Buys is my go-to-place for ink purchases.

I use my printer constantly as I am a quilter and download, then print every pattern I see. I copy my own paper piecing's and my printer is never off. I love the largest size but it is not carried by the store where I purchase it, so I end up buying the combo pack or whatever is available. I hate running out of black and color so I always keep an extra combo on hand.

The cartridge began to leak almost immediately rendering the printer useless. When I contacted HP to get refund on cartridge, I just got stock computer responses that didn't respond to issue and facts. Best Buy told me only HP would issue a warranty refund or replacement. So don't buy HP printers so you won't need to buy HP cartridges
