The HP-83A toner cartridge is reasonably priced and prints a high-quality text. There are no fuzzy or faded spots, the text is clear and bold.

I like the HP-83A toner cartridge and was told it lasts a lot longer than my last printer cartridges did with my old printer.

It fits the printer perfectly. The downside is the exorbitant cost. The printer is great; the cartridge is necessary.

I use this toner with my hp laser printer for past 5 years easy to install.

Black toner prints clear and crisp every time. I print a lot of drafts for editing and the HP LaserJet is perfect for that.

Lasts much longer than the toner that went our previous HP printer, and costs a few dollars less. Medium office use.

Updated: The last set I got seemed to not have as much toner in them. It is high season at the office, but still we went through two cartridges in a week... more than twice as much as usual under 'heavy' use. The one I just put in barely made it 3 days. That would have required 3 reams of paper and I only opened one ream of paper during that time. They came packaged in generic looking boxes with a clear plastic HP wrap as well... not the same as the one's I'd been getting. Instead of being in the usual plastic bubble wrap protection inside the box, they were just in a netting made of cardboard. Between the packaging change and the lower than stated yield I am left wondering if these were still genuine HP cartridges. My HP software accepted them as HP though.

I have purchased this toner for many years .The yield on this is good. It is easy to install.

Brand name printer ink cartridge. Easy to install and came with a UPS return label to send empty one back.

this things last forever i love em and they are not that expensive

I've had other printers that used other cartridges and this one seems to run out faster than others did.

....Just keeps going and going. I used to work from home printing out 150 pages a week minimum. In 9 months of doing so, I only had to have my company re-order it once. After going back to it just being for personal use I still haven't even put in the one I actually bought at Best Buy yet 2.5 years later on my own. I only bought it because HP ink is so expensive, and I had rewards certificates I needed to use before they expired. Highly recommend if this works with your printer!

Ink cartridge prints well with no mess but it is very pricey.

We own an HP laser printer, this is an excellent cartridge because it lasts a looooong time

I hate to say it but the original toner really is better than the generic brand I bought.
