Ink in printers is as expensive as a new printer, they use each color even if you only print in black- it seems... No matter if i print in black and white or not i burn through ink. I buy one maybe 2 sets of ink then toss the printer, something always goes out on the printer about 4-5 sets of ink. I could buy the protection plan but i still spent $70-100 in ink which once the printer goes bad they will replace it with a new printer that uses different ink. So what ever stock of ink i have will be worthless...

The pack as received was great and functioned perfectly. It was purchased as a package discount with a XL Black cartridge also. On package came, but the other didn't. After two weeks I emailed (twice) and then called. I was told the package was lost and the discount was no longer available. After 15 minutes of discussion I was given a "new" deal. I eventually received the completed order nearly a month after ordering and had to be proactive to get my product. I haven't had an unpleasant store experience, but online was definitely sub-par.

HP 933 3 Pack goes quickly

The 933 3 Pack is the best way to buy the ink rather than purchasing the individual packets. My HP 6700 will often require new cartridges even though there has been minimal use verses my HP 6800 which runs for many color and black and white drawings. Once one 933 color is needed you soon find a day later that a second color needs replaced and then a third. You cannot run black and white prints on the HP6700 if any of the colors need replaced.

    Work Well, While They Last...

I have an older HP Officejet (6600) and I feel like I am constantly buying ink cartridges. Thankfully these aren't too expensive... and they work well while they last. Good luck getting long life out of them though. I don't print very frequently, and as I said my printer is older, so maybe those factors are drying up the ink or wasting it, but it seems like more of the ink is wasted while the printer is priming or self-testing (before/after printing) than is actually used printing.

I have reviewed this product before because HP cartridges are the only ones accepted by my HP printer. It will not operate on generic brands. This last box contained a magenta that was depleted before I inserted it as replacement for the one I removed from the printer. Best Buy can do nothing because the box has been opened. How can I know cartridge is defective without opening the box???

You get what you pay for, and I've found that Best Buy always has a sufficient supply of HP original inks at a fair price. They have never, carried HP inks from questionable sources like I've found to be the case from some of Best Buy's competitors. Where the HP inks come in containers looking like they are an HP products, but when you load them in an HP warning will pop-up stating they are not... And your HP printer will not allow you to use them.

Good ink, but wish I didn't have to buy so often

This is good ink. Printouts look clean and vibrant. My only complaint is that the HP Officejet 6600 uses too much ink. I hardly ever print in color, but the printer cleans the printheads so often that it depletes the cartridges, and when the color ink runs out (even just one color), it does not allow me to print in black ink only. Very frustrating, and I may buy a Brother monochrome laser printer next time. But the ink itself is great.

I hate buying individual ink cartridges for every color. I like that this is offered as a combo pack and I buy it that way every time. These typically last me a year and that's with me printing out about 5 single pages of various documents (some black and white, some color) each week. I've never had a trouble with this product.

HP - 933 3-Pack Ink Cartridges - Cyan/Magenta/Yellow (Blue/Pink/Yellow) doesn't prints whatever is written in the product description. The printing amount does not much it's cost, so prize is too high. Quickly finishes and if 1 of the color ink run out so you have to replace all 3 color in advance. Other vice your printer will not work. Sorry but it is a true. HP have to review cost of the product or improve a quality of it. I bought many times during a 2 years.

    Does this ink magically evaporate?

Works perfectly as described, but I swear this stuff evaporates. How can I always be out of friggin' magenta when I only print black and white??? Why can the printer not print black and white if the color cartridges are empty??? These just seem to be a necessary evil to operate my printer

First, I want to say this HP package is a great package of ink, but it is very pricey, and I have only found a good deal for it at two places so far, with Best Buy always coming at the top with a couple of bucks to spare! That always makes me happy, as I have ink and some extra spending money left in my pocket at the end of the day. Other than that, I am very happy with this product as it is a high quality HP product.

    Decent Printer Ink

I think I've reviewed this ink before and still feel the same. The colors are vivid but the cartridges don't last long. Fortunately the cartridges are easy to insert and remove from my printer, however. I usually preference "black ink only" but for some reason the colors deplete pretty fast. I like that I get a 5% discount when I used my Best Buy credit card and also receive Best Buy coupons later.

If you have a printer that uses HP 933 ink and you print very little color then this is perfect. I have school age children who have tons of reports and projects that require printing so I do not recommend buying this 3 pack. I would recommend buying the individual XL cartridges (ie. 933XL Cyan). They more than twice as long and they are less than double the price.

    Convenient 3-pack of colored ink

This 3-pack of colored ink for my printer is convenient and useful since it seems that the three types of colored ink usually run out around the same time. My one complaint is with the printer itself, not the ink: it will not print black when the color ink is near-empty, necessitating the need to buy colored ink. I have to make sure I have colored ink on hand so that I am always able to print.

I like to keep one of these 3-pack ink cartridges on hand because with kids printing book reports and papers for school we need to be prepared. The 3 color ink cartridges load easy and never leak during installation. There aren't any other choices so I choose authentic HP ink and have not been disappointed.

The Ink Cartridges Are A Little Over Priced For These Tiny Cartridges. Coupons And Best Buy Points Make It More Reasonable, It Just Sucks That They Don't Offer The Colored Cartridges In XL But They Do In Black.Try Not To Buy A Printer That Requires This Ink Cartridge Number And The Manufacturer Does Not Fill Them Full Like When You Buy A Bag Of Chips And 30 Percent Is Air Same Concept.

What happened to the free photograph paper?

Let's be frank, you're going to be buy lots of ink cartridges but why did HP get cheap and take away the free photograph paper pack? It made this 3 pack a great value. Now it's just 3 ink cartridges in a box with no special bonus that we enjoyed using printing out pictures. The cartridges run out fast so at least getting the free photograph paper was a nice have.

This product keeps my printer going. Its the only brand of ink my printer will use. I tend to print a lot of things with my computer, for example, coupons, recipes, and articles of interest. Because I use it so often, it seems like I always need more ink, especially when I really need to print something important.

I have an hp printer so I use hp ink. I don't print from my printer very often maybe 2-8 pages three times within six months. Within the 6 months I get a message on my printer that the ink is low or you must replace ink to continue to print. I don't know if hp ink evaporates or what but from my experience I would not buy an hp printer or ink again.

I bought my ink at BB this time Instead of Costco thinking it would be a faster and equally less expensive alternative. However, it took three associates to locate the right cartridges because each one "lost" the manual that stated which ink went to what printer. Ended up taking 20 minutes instead of 5 and costing 20% more The ink quality was good though.
