Color Ink my HP Printer requires

Is the ink my HP printer requires. Is high quality. Price is same as other major sellers. Would buy again. If you rarely print in color than buyer beware - DON"T BUY HP COLOR PRINTER!!! I almost never print in color and this printer still runs out of the color ink which is really expensive and frustrating to have to replace when it was never utilized - but the HP inkjet printers won't let you print even though you selected Black ONLY!!! WOW HP - way to rack up the $$$$$$ - really usurious and greedy HP - SHAME ON YOU!!! Wish I'd known that before I bought this printer!!! But this is an ink review and this ink is good quality and I'm forced to buy it if I want my printer to print at all!

I really hoped that my attempts to buy cheaper off-brand ink would work, however, after several failed attempts I bought these and haven't had an issue at all. I've learned the hard way that you get what you pay for when it comes to ink and electronics. Wish it wasn't this expensive but it lasts a long time; I print mostly in black; plain; draft; so I try not to waste but I have printed photos and quality is pretty good. I would not use this to print multiple photos or a slew of color-rich items because it would be really expensive and much cheaper to send photos or whatever you are printing to any kind of printing shop for 1/4 the price and better quality than using this to print them out. Overall, for small projects, papers and some daily use, it's worth it.

Shame designed stop working when one ink runs out

Printer designed to stop working if even one of the 4 colors of ink runs out, forcing immediate purchase before continuing a print job. Accordingly, if printer could be critically needed, one would need to keep backups for each color of ink. Fortunately, I had bought this package of all 3 of the color (non black) inks because, immediately upon installing the new ink cartridge for the one that had stopped the printer from printing, one of the other color inks ran out. Also, cost of ink high enough that users have to consider buying new printer instead of just replacing ink if any concern about age or condition of printer. Unfortunately, this appears to be an industry standard across manufactures.

I tried purchasing the generic ink replacement cartridges and they do not always work. Sure, you save a good amount of money but it's not saving if the printer doesn't accept the replacement cartridge. Not because I bought the wrong one, just something about the sensor that if it's not an exact fit, HP throws an error. Then you have to take it out and try to put it back in properly, let it calibrate and hopefully it'll be accepted by the printer. I had a cartridge that just would not be accepted no matter what I do... total waste of money. So my suggestion is to look out for deals, search online for coupons or extra savings/discounts and just buy the original. At the end, you only pay about $5 - $10 more for the original. Its well worth it if your time is precious to you.

I love this ink because the colors are vibrant and also waterproof, which I have tested (not on purpose). The color and even the black last about 1,000-1,100 pages, where for the standard ones, not the XL, it states they last 750 pages. They are so easy to install and if you have an HP printer, you so have to get the HP brand ink, because I once went and bought the generic cheaper non HP branded ink and even the black looked grey and the color cartridges were not vibrant, or waterproof and they only lasted about 450 pages, so I would recommend this cartridge and any of the HP branded ink. I use this on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Mufti-function printer and it just works so great.

We got our printer last February ( that we also purchased from Best Buy) and it had the set-up cartridges and I also purchased extra ink cartridges when I got the printer. I did not have to replace the set-up cartridges until June and just now replaced them again so they last me about six months, which is so great. I love the fact that I can get the XL size and the price is good with them lasting this long and they are so easy to install, so I am very happy with my printer and the ink cartridges.

    Poorly packaged HP Ink Cartridges

None of the 4 HP replacement Inkjet cartridges worked properly and I called HP for support. Initially HP refused to help because the printer was a bit over the one year printer warranty. I said it was their new ink carteidges that would not work . Eventually the support person, who was hard to understand but very helpful, had me clean all 4 inkjets, plus the copper contacts. We were finally able to get the printer working properly without low / no ink fault warnings. HP no longer wraps each cartridge in a sealed foil bag, nor do they cover the jets with a plastic cap. Using the cardboard box by itself is a poor way to protect this type of product.

My HP Officejet Pro 8600 ran out of the yellow ink so I could not print until the cartridge was replaced. At Best Buy I saw the combo pack of all three colours for my 8600 at a saving over the individual cartridges. So I picked it up. Installed just the yellow cartridge and printed one page before the printer asked for the Magenta cartridge. It was great to just reach into the pack and load the colour and continue printing. (Printer hasn't asked for the Cyan yet) Much better than a ride to the store to get the next colour. This way you run the cartridges dry and in 30 seconds you are back up and running. Will definitely by combo packs form now on.

I use the 951 colored ink for my printer, and to me the package of three in one, plus the cost is very reasonable. It is also very convenient for me to purchase this packet, which goes very well with an extra large 950 black ink. This is so because I tend to do more black and white than color printing. The three plus one is complimentary and mandatory for the printers function . Convenience, great price, great quality ink - colors my world. Way to go HP.

No problem with the HP Ink Cartridges. I did have a problem, however, with the poor service at my Best Buy Store in Marina Pacific in Long Beach. I had neglected to write down the numbers for the cartridges I needed for my new printer. I asked for help several times and supposedly it was on its way. Twenty minutes later, I was helped by a customer who took pity on me. Apparently, at my neighborhood store I get great service when I'm buying big purchases, such as my refrigerator, computer, and televisions, but I'm ignored when I need help on a small item.

I read the reviews before I bought my Broan range hood. What was consistent in customer reviews, was the more expensive range hood was worth it. Were they right? Absolutely. For the time spent in front of the stove, the better hood, the better lighting and the quieter fan really add to the overall experience of cooking. A luxury? Yes. But buying the best in a range hood, a solid product such as a Broan, really has made me feel like it was money well spent. Downside-you end up cleaning your stove for a longer time with the better lighting! Win...win!!

I purchased a washer and dryer with the stacking kit and connection kit, (plug cord and vent for dryer and washing machine hoses) installed by Best Buy. Problem I had is the electrical cord for the dryer was way to short because of the stacking of the machines. I had to spend an addional $50.00 out of my pocket and reinstall a longer electrical cord. Not real happy about the extra expense after I thought I had payed for it already. I also found the items after the fact at a much better price, so I ended up spending much more money than I should have.

Love the quality of ink. I hate that i have only this one option for my printer. The ink doesn't last long at all, even doing minimal printing. I do not like that there are no options to buy the colored cartridges and a black ink all in one pack instead of separate. The cost is insane and unrealistic, especially for how frequently they run out. I do not like that without having either the 3 pack of colors or the black cartridge it wont allow any type of printing at all without having all 4, even if its in black and white, grayscale etc.

Ink looks very satisfactory when printed, but I will never purchase another HP Deskjet due to the ink. I have purchase two sets of color ink and have not printed any color print or pictures, and yet they need replacing again. Either they are drying out and will not work, or there is a counter that tells you they are out. When the color ink needs replacing the printer will not even print black, even if it is a new black ink. That makes my per page cost astronomical. I will use laser going forward.

I tried using third party ink I ordered off Amazon and it messed up my printer ( other ink was printing washed out colors and varied throughout the page). Had to go back to using Hp ink which overtime fixed the problem. Best Buy will match Amazon ink prices it sold and shipped by amazon. The reason I give it 4 stars is due to the cost of the ink.

I have always bought my ink at an office supply store and used Best Buy for my hardware needs. I tried Best Buy this day and was glad I did. I needed help finding the right cartridge and the store clerk was exceptionally attentive and helpful I thought considering my small purchase. He helped me find what I needed and then rang up the purchase. That was when I found out about the discount on printer ink. Not a sale but a 15% discount every time I buy ink! In the future I will surely buy all my ink at Best Buy.

I find these ink cartridges do what their supposed to with the little bit of ink in them, but I find ALL ink cartridges to be a total rip-off. For the high price of replacement ink I can buy a new printer in most cases. You think by this time they could be ¼ of the price and last a lot longer! Also for the HP printer these cartridge fit, it cannot be operated at any time with just black cartridge installed or if just one of the other cartridges is empty. Thank HP, That's why the one star!

As we all know technology is constantly changing and I have seen and tried my share of printers, ink, and printer accessories. HP has been a steady constant throughout the years. You can count on their products to be good quality and dependable. Genuine HP Inkjet ink always does a great job and is fairly priced. I have tried several refillables and third party products that allow you to save some money, but in the end, there is nothing like the real thing! By HP and enjoy hassle free, good quality, printing.

I like the fact that all three colors were available to buy in one box and at one price, rather than having to buy them separately. However, I didn't save much money doing it. Ink has simply gotten expensive. We print a lot and in color, but they've seemed to last a decent amount of time. So, I won't complain. I only wish the price would go down a bit.

Usually get all my ink for my Best Buy purchased newer HP printer. Using reward card, get 15% off, which can go below or match other retailers. Also can turn in used ink for credit. Only problem with that is, limited days to use the credit again on ink, like 15 days or 30, I don't remember, and when you just purchased ink, you don't need it again. I have always lost out on that, and may start returning my ink elsewhere for reward credits. The HP ink lasts fine for my home, personal use.
