    The cartridges have a long life. One drawback is the printer continues to warn long before the old cartridges are spent. The printer will not feed card stock.

    As always, I stick with the brand name ink to go with the printer. Always works and looks good. Long for the days of less costly ink however.

    Don't bother with generic ink, use HP ink. No runs or leaks and it is always a full cartridge when opened.
