    Ink is expensive, so let's just leave those angry thoughts at the door. I normally buy my printer ink from Office Depot (shhhh) but Best Buy has been putting their HP ink cartridges on sale so now I can save money AND earn Best Buy rewards. It's a win win! These XL High-Yield Ink Cartridges are also totally worth the additional cost. You are getting roughly twice the yield over the standard cartridges at approximately 15%-20% additional cost.

    I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 and it requires 3 colored and one black cartridge, 4 in all. I am a quilter and avid reader and need to print out lots of colorful patterns, make labels for my quilts, as well as print out information on the books we read that I need before each book group meeting.. Needless to say, I use my printer alot. Thank heavens for the XL cartridges as it lasts longer than the regular ones and saves money for us in the end. I use XL whenever I can get them.

    It's hard to separate a review of the ink from the printer. For the entire HP system I could not be more pleased. For many years I had to replace my home printer every year because something quit working. This system has been ultra reliable for perhaps 10 years. Yes, buy the XL with the extra quantity
