    Don't waste your time with the regular cartridges; pay for the XL's. Print quality and endurance is excellent. The off brand cartridges will work, if you want to save money, but the print quality, waste, mess, and compatibility, in most cases, is not worth the hassle.

    Convenience-Order Online, Pickup In store. Discounted from List Price. HP Printers and cartridges are codified to detect if cartridge is 3rd party or HP and for expiration - prevent dry cartridges and possibly prevent reusing cartridges using re-fills. Happily when I buy Best Buy HP ink, my system reports its HP original and fresh ink.

    We always get HP ink for our HP printers and the high yield XL cartridges are the best value for the money. I prefer buying the XL cartridges over the multi-packs because the multi-packs seem to come with even less ink than the regular cartridges and I prefer to not have to change ink cartridges so often.

    I always buy the XL size ink cartridges because even though I don't print as much as some, I don't want to quickly run our of ink and have to order a replacement or travel to the store to pick up another cartridge. I buy original HP ink so that if there is a problem, my warranty is intact. It is very seldom that there is a problem with the ink cartridge.

    These are genuine HP inks, and the XL size is twice the output for less than twice the price, making it a great deal as far as replacement inks go. The expiration date is almost two years out so no worries about that. I had shipped and it arrived the next day. You also get it cheaper of you are a rewards member and it's free to sign up. I sound like I work for BB now, but I don't lol.
