I had previously bought two cartridges from a different seller, but returned them because my printer flagged them as altered and not original. So, I took the printer to Best Buy, hoping they could fix the issue. When I got there, the tech guy simply told me to buy their cartridges, as those were the originals. I did—and boom! My printer fell in love, and it’s still smitten.

This is the ONLY ink I will use for my printer. I believe it is also the only ink available to use in my printer. So I heartily recommend it. And it is very black.

This XL cartridge is expensive for what it is, but it seems to last OK in our new HP-9025 printer. We previously subscribed to HP's "InstantInk" monthly program, which they give you free for a couple of months, but then they cleverly disguise the terms, and it ends up being kind of a rip-off. Plus it's invasive as HP is constantly monitoring the printer in our house, and will actually shut down the printing capability while using the InstantInk cartridges if our modem loses Internet connection, even though we have full WiFi capabilities within our house - This was disastrous once when I was printing reports one evening for an important out-of-town presentation the next day, and they just arbitrarily shut off my printing midstream because our local Spectrum cable Internet was doing maintenance. All other functions were fine, and the machine was full of paper and ink, but Big Brother HP decided to shut it down! HP is also impossible to communicate with unless you are satisfied speaking to a braindead chatbot!...Anyway, Best Buy prices for these cartridges basically seem in line with with everyone else, and shipping is free, so I prefer purchasing from Best Buy because they stand by their products.

My review is about Best Buy service instead of the product. I had ordered color and black ink for a printer. We happened to have a snow storm that interfered with the delivery of the the black ink but the color inks showed up a few days later. I received a message that the black was delivered even though it didn’t. I waited thinking it might show up in the mail. But it didn’t. I tried to contact customer service through online chat and left a message. The next day I received a message that my order was going to be delivered. It was delivered. Thank you Best Buy Customer Service!

When it comes to my home computers & printers, it's HP all the way!! To feed my printer I only use HP ink, When I need black ink, i buy the XL cartridge. It last twice as long as the regular cartridge! I highly recommend HP replacement ink!!
