Works nice; probably not good for drawing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to edit directly on PDFs, and it does what I need it to do. I don't think I'd be able to use it for drawing, so thankfully I'm not an artist. The stylus itself is pretty fat in your hands--about the size of a Sharpie pen--and I find it a little awkward. Still, it does what I need it to do.

Beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It feels nice and sturdy in your hand and the button is in a good place. The tip feels too sharp and looks like it might scratch the screen with even normal use. BIGGEST NEGATIVE is that it does NOT work on all split X 2 models like HP's description states. I had to return it because it would not work for me.

A stylus THIS BAD in 2016? Seriously?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an active stylus on a tablet way back in 2003, and that was a great experience. Fast forward to today... I am extremely disappointed. In HP's defense, it does work. But you should know that it doesn't work as you would expect. You have to press REALLY hard on the screen to activate the "ink", and it makes an audible click at that point. I feel like this pressure will some day break the screen. Also, there is a button near where you hold the pen - that is the eraser button! So about half the time you're accidentally erasing those precious lines you just drew! Perhaps this would be a novel item for first time stylus users? But for graphics pros or seasoned stylus users... it's a huge disappointment. Returning this one ASAP for the Dell pen which gets better reviews online.

Worst pen ive ever used
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive used 4 different wacom tablets for over a decade, and this is the worst stylus I have ever used. Takes WAY too much pressure to make a mark on the hp spectre x360 i was using. It was so bad i returned the laptop and got a lenovo with a built in (wacom tech powered) stylus. 100 times better at least. I had to use so much pressure i thought i would eventually scratch the screen. In addition, theres a sharp edge on the eraser end, so get excited for random scratches everywhere, the end is needlessly sharp. Do not buy. A poorly designed pen made me return a $1500 laptop, it was that bad.

Abysmal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should preface this with the fact that the first capacitive pen I ever used is the one for the Microsoft Surface 3 which is fantastic. I gave the Surface to my daughter for college and I bought an HP Spectre 360 but I like journaling, drawing, doodling and the like. This pen won't work for basically anything except maybe the Fresh Paint app in the app store. For writing, it skips, lags, and makes it look like I have Parkinson's (no offense# when I write. I know nothing is perfect but legible is preferable. I'm not a doctor! #just a nurse....lol) Anyway, after doing further research I've heard the dell pen is better. I'm returning this one as I can do better with my finger than this atrocity.

Just ok for left-handers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can only speak as a left-hander but this pen is sort of difficult to use. The tip of the pen needs to be at a very specific angle to work properly. The select/deselect buttons are too flimsy for my liking; they feel like they are about to giggle off.

Excellent!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first stylus and it is so far not at all what people say. It is great with palm rejection and i would recommend it to anyone for daily use. I use it to take notes in class, draw, and even use it as a "mouse" when my computer is in tablet mode.

Stylus did not did work.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The box should list the compatible models. The instructions should be more than a few sentences. You do get volumes of foreign instructions. The Sale staff should be able to look up the compatible models. The Sales staff led me to the aisle and package.

It works and is easy to set up if need be
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a pleasure to draw or write with directly on my HP Spectre X360 laptop touchscreen. I use this pen in the following programs without any trouble: CorelDRAW, Corel PhotoPaint, Xara Designer Pro, ArtRage, AutoDesk SketchBook,OneNote, Adobe Illustrator. It does also work in Photoshop but it lags, but my Wacom Intuos also has lag in it. It is the Creative Cloud edition and my not be like having Photoshop installed from a disc. If you need to set it up the pen which I did for CorelDRAW, and PhotoPaint, you draw with it first, then go to your Tools/Options and look for pen under Global settings, choose Real-Time Stylus. ArtRage: you look up how to recognize Real-Time Stylus. It works as well as my Intuos tablet and it was $200, this is much more affordable, now I regret buying the Wacom tablet.
