For the price ($20) it's hard to go wrong. We've had a few instances where the keystroke was not recognized by the computer but overall they keyboard is reasonably comfortable. I would not recommend for heavy usage, but if you need to put in a keyboard/mouse (one unified dongle) where it will be lightly used this is a good choice.

After 3 weeks of regular use, keystrokes are not registering, a few keys require abnormal force, and the mouse wheel is erratic now as of yesterday. Best buy refuses to return and HP says that they no longer support this keyboard even though it is new. Buy Microsoft or Logitech and stay away from this junk

Picture a child playing a piano for thefirst time, hammering keys. That is what you need to do with this piece of junk, even on the space bar. @@@@@@@@ I purposefully didn't correct the non-space in the first sentence. This has been a problem from the start and I would have returned it if I hadn't put the box out for recycling.

It worked fine for first 2-3 weeks. after that started having trouble, missing key strokes, especially number keys. I wouldn't recommend it if you use key board a lot for typing. Only good for general use.

Using it about 10ft away from my computer and the mouse movement and keystrokes are lagging in response. I switched mouses with a higher quality HP one and the mouse movement is ok now. Probably going to pick up a better wireless keyboard. This was an inexpensive set so might be better at a closer range.

    Keystrokes do not always register

I am a slow and deliberate typist. Yet I cannot believe how many words are missing letter after I type a paragraph. This keyboard should come with a sledgehammer to pound the keys. If you are using this keyboard, make sure you "put the pedal to the metal" for each key. Only by fully bottoming out the contact, can you have a reasonable assurance that the letter will register.

I normally type fast-ish and accurately but this keyboard fails to register my key strokes quite often (more specifically, the entire "Shift" key row and lower). I tried to emphasize pressing the buttons harder but it didn't come naturally and it felt this shouldn't be necessary. I recently purchased a new computer and it came with a new keyboard and I DON'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM with the new keyboard. This keyboard may be okay for someone who types slower or types hard on the keys. However, I rather spend $20 on a keyboard that suits anyone's style of typing.

Started having issues with missing key strokes. Lot of trouble loging into sites with passwords. You will definitely miss some characters. It's pain. Mouse works fine though. I wanted to return it but I missed my return deadline buy a day. Please stay away from this product. I wanted another one, but it's only two months and don't have money for another one right now. So planning to use it as long as the mouse works.
