The product was delivered in excellent condition (thanks BB), but this is the end of the good part. The HP Smart app said it can't recognize my Xfinity network (mixed 5 and 2.4 ghz). I split out and renamed the 2.4g network separately, yet it still couldn't set up the printer. So... I looked for the alternate set up method using USB cable. Guess what not in the box? A USB cable! Fortunately, I had one. I proceeded with the setup, and guess what the set up required? Wi-Fi internet connection!!!!!!! Guess what is not evident in any of the help menus, documentation, or internet? Human interaction options. I spend 45 mins on the phone with Xfinity who was very sympathetic and helpful, but they could not help me either. I passed on their option to send out a service guy now knowing this is a printer issue with no resolution pass. I have spent more than my hourly rate trying to get this thing to work than I paid. I am no luddite by far, but I am ready to reenact one of the best scenes from Office Space. This printer is being returned for tomorrow.

The instructions were lacking. It does what I need it to do. I’m not a fan of the partial ink cartridges that only give you about 20 pages before you have to buy a full one. I’ve only had it a month and had to go buy emergency in today. For the price it’s decent.

Limited WI-FI access to 2.4G only so you have to switch to that channel from any device to access it. Cartridges are expensive.
