The perfect printer. When we came into the store to buy a printer, we had no idea what we were looking for. A gentleman listened to what we needed and this is what he recommended. I’m so glad he did. It prints great and is so simple to use. It was also very easy to set up. I’ve used it for many projects now. I would highly recommend it.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SETUP.... over 4 hours to set up with multiple road blocks along the way. Lots of missing information on how to setup up (need HP password which wasn't supplied) and connect to wireless. Have 30+ years of business and tech experience and this was horrible. Finally was able to connect with a USB cable to Mac Desktop which is ridiculous in today's world. Once connected this little printer works fine, but the connection process was miserable. Wouldn't buy it again for this reason.

Brand response from HP Team

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer was so difficult to set up and still has not connected wirelessly to your desktop computer running Mac OS. I can easily understand why that would be a tremendously frustrating start to owning a new printer. With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
First, you can access a setup tutorial as well as user manuals, troubleshooting guides, how-to documents and software updates for your printer on our support site. Do that by following this link: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-2700-all-in-one-printer-series/29378157/model/31598174
You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including setup and connectivity. Visit that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If you need further assistance, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and guide you through any applicable troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

Excellent printer so easy to use wi-fi is the best the ink is much cheaper than the other ones out there. I truly recommend this printer to anyone I’m a senior person and I don’t understand mechanical products but this one is very simple to use. The Hp All in one printer instructions are very easy. You can download on your smartphone or tablet, computer. I don’t have a computer only a tablet and after you download it’s just a click away for enjoying printing your pictures. It also has a mind it adjusts what type of paper or photo paper size you put in. Fabulous product I truly recommend this to everyone.

So far this new printer is working fine.
It was easy to set up.
And more than anything, the ink replacements are cheap (you can get the two of them for about $15 each) compared to my last printer which was $75 each ☹️

Terrible printer, worse instructions I ever see to set it up, only 6 months of manufacture warranty so they know it’s crappy. It stop printing the day I open and I no longer could returned and HP charges more than the printer cost to give you assistance. Also is a dirt and dust magnet !

Nice compact printer. Doesn't print all that fast, though nice sharp prints. Not as simple as HP indicates to setup. Constantly requires a password to connect the Wifi... but one is not included. Follow this guys setup help on YouTube and you'll be up and running in no time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HAIniiyuGo

This machine performs high-quality printing and scanning and is generally easy to use. My only "quibble" with calling it an all-in-one is that to send faxes, you have to know to install the HP Smart software, which will handle that for you. And there's no way to receive faxes without signing up for a separate service.
That's not really an "all-in-one," either in the traditional sense or the way HP has traditionally referred to it because there's generally been an RJ-11 jack.

We had no trouble with set up. It does set up fast with an iphone. It's good for home use. Also connected to my Chromebook, it took a few mins but it works nicely. Clear printing. Am satisfied with it. And makes copies too. Copies look good. Price was good and curbside pick up was fast and easy at Best buy. Do not recommend for business or office , where it would be used all the time. Buy a more expensive one for that kind of use. Do recommend for home moderate use. Wifi set up. Hp printer deskjet2724.

It's been a while since I had an inkjet printer at home, using the laser color printers at work all the time. Set up with iPhone and a Mac laptop was easy, but not quick (could be that my wifi during set up quit unexpectedly). Color print quality exceeded my expectations, so I'm happy with my purchase. Other functions (like scanning) work pretty good too. You will need the HP app for this to function, so download it first.

At first it took me some time to wire it to the internet coz sometimes the connection to the router doesn’t go smoothly its not just about this printer;
But as soon as i managed how it works i fell in love with it pretty nice printer for the quality, connection and ease of use!
I didn’t have any problem after that connecting it to my phone, you will find it ready whenever you want it!

We really like HP products. Our old HP printer cost us $50 retail and was worth every penny. After 8 years, it finally gave out. We are enjoying this new printer, with its Bluetooth feature and the print quality is good for the price. Simple to use and very quiet.

Great printer. Excellent prints both in color and b&w. I purchased the instant ink card so I can receive automatic ink replacements when my printer is running low. You can select a plan based on the number of pages you would print out in a month. You can pay as low as $2.99 per month for 50 pages or a higher monthly fee if you need a greater amount of pages printed in a month. I don’t have to worry about going to a store or shopping online for ink. The set up is quite annoying, no instructions attached. Google it and download the HP Smart app for setup. You will need a usb cable to connect printer to router or pc for set up, it’s not included with printer.

I wanted an inexpensive all in one printer that used cheaper ink than my previous printer. This HP DeskJet 2724 fits the bill, however it prints very slowly. It's fine for my purposes, but if you need a printer for business I'd look elsewhere.

Pros: small in size (will fit on top of a single drawer file cabinet), prints clearly, can print from HP app on mobile device.
Cons: can only scan one side of page at a time, not much paper can be loaded, ink runs out pretty fast, based off of our usage it prints faster when command is sent from the app rather than our laptops.

Pretty neat printer, prints good and there is an app I use to print. Sometimes it disconnects and if I unplug it I have to do the whole setup process.
