Scanning anything through a colored mode sucked really bad. I guess I only get what I paid for. Plus points: I got an ink cartridge through HP subscriptions free trial stuff. When the time comes to buy a new ink, i might just donate it to some place because ink price is closer to a scam.

Registering the printer gives you access to their paper and ink subscription service which for my purchase was worth 9 months of ink for free and 500 sheets of paper which is great. Only real downside is their proprietary ink nightmare but for someone who is an infrequent user I can live with it.

Downloaded the app and can print from my phone. Haven't tried from a laptop yet. I got another HP because the ink is cheaper to replace than other brands.
