Lightweight and very functional for home use. we should have a keypad to plug in number of copies, rather than continuously, pushing the black or color button

Fair printer. Cheap price. Do the job. Just don't like the ink restrictions HP is implementing possible thru wifi. HP have too much control over wifi on customer choice

This printer is worth a lot more than what I paid for it. Once I got it set up it performs better than my expectations. The only problem I had was with the set up and I had to call HP support and have them assist me which they were very gracious to do..

This printer is a snap to get up and running. Plug and play really. The print speed is why it lacks the fifth star. Reasonably priced however everyone knows its the ink.

So easy to set up. Works just like I expected it would, replaced an old one that wouldn’t work with my new laptop.

The printer works. It is a cheap printer so I bought the protection plan so that it can be replaced when it breaks, not if. Setting up through the HP smart app is terrible. They want to force you to use an HP account that you have to create in order to use your scanning features and get any benefits from HP. You should be able to install your printer and use everything without an HP account. I am shying away from HP printers lately and going towards Canon or Epson I really like the ink tank printers. I would not recommend this product unless you don't print much and need something super cheap. All in all it does work and it is fairly simple to use it could be a great printer for a grandmother or grandfather. But if you're doing any amount of normal printing this is not the model you want.

I like this printer for quick or basic printing jobs. One negative is that it does not do front and back automatically. The price was reasonable. The print quality is very good. Another negative is not having automatic feed.

Not Bad for the price, although it was a little difficult getting it to stay in my network at first for some reason. I wish you could just run the setup completely through USB, if you want the instant ink membership you have to setup as Wi-Fi only. I couldn't figure out how to get the 6 month free ink either it only gave me a 10$ credit.

Works pretty well. It might be the cost effective model but the only downside is the color ink it comes with doesnt last very long. Its great for the whole house. My kids print puctures to color while i use it for important documents.

Printers have turned into disposables due to the cost of ink. This HP DeskJet goes in a different direction with the HP Instant Ink subscription that monitors your ink levels and sends ink when you need it, based upon usage level settings you tell the application. This is a smart solution and one that makes a big dent in the cost of consumables. The printer is minimalist and very light so I do wonder how it will last over time thus the 4 stars on quality. That said, the Wireless feature works seamlessly on my iMac Pro and does not require cabling to set up (as some earlier wireless printers did). Altogether a really good affordable solution that capitalizes on the newest HP printer features like "Print anywhere" which is a remote printing feature that lets you send to print and then print when you can retrieve the documents (this is used by businesses for document security and is a great feature to include on a personal printer.) I don't need that feature but was impressed it was available on this small all-in-one. Scanning and a "fax" feature are also easily set up so as an all-in-one for a good price it's a decent value.

I was afraid at $40 I was buying garbage, Instead I got a great printer, easy to set up, and pretty quick printing. If you print a lot the 3 free months of ink is great deal. I would recommend this to a friend. Best Buy has never let me down.
