The HP DeskJet 2827e Wireless AI-Enabled All-in-One Inkjet Printer is a good quality color printer for everyday tasks. With this, you can print, copy and scan. It is lightweight at approximately 7.55 pounds, doesn't have a particularly large footprint and prints up to 7.5ppm in black and up to 5.5ppm in color. Yes, that is relatively slow, but the quality of the printing is there for me. This uses HP 67 ink cartridges - one black and one tri-color. HP provides "tester" cartridges with the machine, so you should be prepared to get new cartridges sooner than you might think. On the other hand, HP has a program called Instant Ink where you get ink delivered to you automatically when you need it. The printer keeps track of your use and you pay for the amount of pages you think you will print. For example, a plan for 100 pages per month is currently $6.99/month. There's a lot more detail to it, and it comes with a 3 month free trial. Cartridge replacements must have original HP chips or it will "block cartridges using non-HP chips or circuitry. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures". This has a 60 sheet paper input "tray" - the paper input is through the back of the machine. Not what one would normally consider a paper tray, but it works well. It does have an output tray with a 25 sheet capacity. This model does not have an ADF (automatic document feeder) but it is capable of 2 sided printing if you re-feed the first printed page back into the paper input tray. It does it the old-fashioned way, manually. The printer setup was very easy for me. By scanning the QR code in the setup guide and downloading the app, and then going through as it led me, step-by-step. The app interface is really quite nice. Soon enough, I was connected to my WiFi and printing, scanning and copying. Through everything I've seen in the paperwork provided with this, it appears that you must connect this printer to WiFi (only 2.4GHz) in order for it to work. I have had absolutely no issues with my WiFi connection with this. Overall, I would say this HP DeskJet 2827e Wireless AI-Enabled All-in-One Inkjet Printer is a good one. The speed is not there, but the quality is. It has the HP name behind it and that tells me, from personal experience, it should hold up through years of use. The printing, scanning and copying features all work well. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a basic, uncomplicated printer, scanner & copier. And a plus, it is made of 60% recycled plastics and is Energy Star certified.

I have used HP printers in the past but they always seem to fall short of my expectations. This one is different. It doesn’t take up much room. It is easy to set up and grabbed onto the WI-FI quickly. It prints quickly with very little delay from the time the print command is given until it prints. The print is clear and bolder. I have always had problems in the past getting the print just right on HP printers but it just set itself up to print perfect every time so far. I am impressed. . The cord is long enough to reach the outlet without an extension. (I know printers say to not use extensions but sometimes you need too) This printer was set up in the garage office. My husband loves everything about it and it makes it so easy for him to print with or without the APP. You can do more things by using the Free APP. . There is a free 3 month trial of instant ink if you choose to sign up and use it. I did not because I have had problems with receiving the instant ink in the past. It never seems to arrive in time. Maybe it is just me. I just run to the office supply store and grab new ink when I am about out. It works for me. . It is so easy Print, scan, and copy from my iPhone using the HP app. The HP-DeskJet 2827e Wireless Al Enabled All in One Inkjet Printer is designed to use only HP ink with electronic circuitry, and it uses dynamic security to prevent the use of non HP ink. I am not totally sure how this works though. I always use HP ink in my HP printers anyway. The ink is included in the box and easy to install in the printer. The electrical cord is included in the box as well.

The HP 2827e All In One Printer is simplified version of most of All In One type. It is mobility friendly due to its light weight without hassle to grab and change places. Being simple, it is designed to use only two cartridges, 1 Tricolor and 1 Black, both included in the package; simple scanning with maximum to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi (color) , 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi (black), with scanner type being flatbed. Its input tray support up to 60 sheets, output tray up to 25 sheets. The printer has modes specification to for basic work but appeal to dynamic works to print from different devices. As it support print protocol from Apple and Google as long as all are in same network, anyone with access can print independent of work task spot at the home or office. As handy option, printer has ethernet port placed on the back. Aside from these, it has most basic feature that today’s printers provide. One thing to note is its interface, or the UI experience of the mobile application outstanding compared to other brand. It is in pair to today’s UI look and feeling unlike old time office style alike of interface. Regarding the replacement of the ink cartridge HP requires subscription modality, and cannot be purchased independently not being subscribed customer. Although this could serve some user groups, for others that doesn’t have consistent time period to determine in advance how many times need to replace the ink cartridge might result negatively. It’s dependency on periodical replacement and forced to decide on that aspect and not being able to order it just when needed or it is known, make hard to rely on the HP Printer. The printer per se is nice to have for its simplicity but its dependency on subscription makes hard to continue using when the frequency of change of the ink cartridges has to be decided in very advance mode.

The HP DeskJet 2827e is a budget friendly printer that can print, copy, and scan. • Unboxing and Setup – The printer is nicely packed in a small box with minimal cardboard and plastic waste. A setup guide is included which is easy to follow. Remove and discard all the tape and cardboard securing the printer. Once plugged in make sure you have the HP app downloaded to your computer or phone to finish setup. Note the printer only supports 2.4 GHz networks so if you have a dual/tri/mesh network you may have to disable your other bands. Install the ink according to the diagram in the guide and you are ready to print. On initial setup the printer will prompt to print a few test pages for calibration. • Design – It has a “standard” printer look with a compact footprint. There is a small display on the left side of the printer with relevant information such as error codes, wireless status, estimated ink levels, etc. It has a 60-sheet input tray with print speeds up to 5.5 ppm color and 7.5 ppm black. • Smart Features and Cartridges – This must be one of the most anti-consumer things I have seen a company do. When setting up the printer you have the option to enable HP+ smart features. Some of these features include intelligent, cloud-based connectivity, advanced HP app, improved warranty, mobile scan and file sharing. Sounds great right? If you choose to do this, you must agree to only use genuine HP cartridges and it permanently disables remanufactured/third party cartridges. If you decline you get another warning saying HP will actively work to block non-HP cartridges through firmware updates. This is all in the name of “protecting the customer experience and protecting intellectual property”. • Instant Ink – A subscription-based service that ensures you buy HP ink. While they do offer a discount, there is no reason you should not be able to use 3rd party options. Overall, if you want a budget-friendly printer and you don’t mind being forced to buy expensive genuine HP cartridges then you should consider this product. I cannot recommend this product due to the anti-consumer choices made by HP. Buy from a different brand.

I have used HP before and liked it so I bought another one. HP did not disappoint. My printer is just the right size and works very well. It was also easy to set up.

I chose this printer after comparing it with similar home printers and what made me pick this one was its compact size, modern look, wireless setup. The design are perfect for a home office or small desk space. It’s lightweight, doesn’t take up much room, and the color looks clean and modern. Setup was super easy and the HP smart app guided me through connecting it to Wi-Fi in minutes. The printer instantly connected to my laptop and phone, making wireless printing smooth. The LCD icons are simple and intuitive, even for quick copying or scanning without a computer. In terms of print quality, it’s excellent for everyday needs. Text comes out crisp, and color prints are bright and clear. It’s not meant for heavy-duty or fast printing, but that’s fine for home use. The 3 months of free instant ink is a nice touch. The printer monitors ink levels and HP automatically ships new cartridges before you run out — very convenient if you opt for that service. Quality feels solid for the price, and it’s great that it’s made with recycled plastic. So far the printer is ok. It seems to run out of ink faster than other HP printers.

Prints documents fast! They look really nice. Even photos come out okay. This comes with subscription ink, as few as ten pages per month.

I have owned a lot of printers in my thirty or so years in the computer industry, and for whatever reason, they can seem to cause more headache, and frustration, than most computer problems. There is a scene in Office Space, which sums up how many in the IT world feel about printers. HP has set out to change this with the HP Deskjet 2827e, which offer an easy, fast setup, economical printing and a small (literally) footprint. Setup is easy, without any issues. Out of the box the printer is a nice, but small printer. Getting it setup in Windows 11 was easy, and I had it up and running on all three computers without issue. Running the test page and setting up the app all are part of the initial process, and the printer worked flawlessly via wi-fi on my home network. The app provides a lot of control, you will need it on your phone for the initial setup and for Airprint, if you have an iOS machine. Print outs look good for a value printer, and the HP Ink is still a fantastic deal for those of us who don't want to worry about ink levels. I subscribe to the lowest tier which is less than $2 a month since I don't print much and it works out great. No one really wants more subscriptions but this one is well worth it I believe. HP has done a great job of creating the 2827e. It's a small little value printer that can help get you up and doing the occasional print. Heavy use users may want to invest a little more but this printer will be more than enough for most people. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Great going HP!

HP released an All-in-One printer, the DeskJet 2827e Wireless Ai-Enabled All-in-One Inkjet Printer, designed to appeal to the home office, with a compact, attractive appearance. Measuring only 6.06"H x 16.7"W x 11.97"D, this printer blends perfectly with its white body in the most sophisticated home office. Connection could not be easier. There is a USB jack on the back to plug into any Mac or PC. The integrated wireless Wi-Fi is amazing! It has a "self-healing" design, so if your Wi-Fi fails, it will reconnect itself! This is a new AI-enabled Wi-Fi developed by HP. Wireless printing from our iPhone, iPad, PC & Mac works flawlessly. The input tray has a capacity of 60-sheets; the output tray accommodates 25-sheets. The Icon LCD is built into the top left side of the printer, next to the flatbed scanner. HP strongly encourages you to start an instant ink subscription when you set up the printer. They claim doing so results in a cost savings of up to 50%. However, HP sells the 67 Black & 67 Tri-color cartridges separately if you choose not to subscribe. HP also offers 67XL High Yield Black & 67XL High Yield Tri-color cartridges that offer longer printing capacity. The HP DeskJet 2827e All-in-One Printer is AI-enabled through software & the HP+ service. The most beneficial AI feature I use is when AI detects & removes unwanted content, then it perfectly formats the page. CONCLUSION: The scan & print quality and speed will satisfy all but the most demanding home office applications. My wife loves the looks & the small size of this printer & was thrilled to get rid of the old bulky printer it replaced. I highly recommend the HP DeskJet 2827e .

If you are looking for a wireless printer capable of scanning, copying, and fax - the HP DeskJet 2827e is hard to beat. Setup: This is the second HP I've owned over the last several years and I'm always floored by how easy setting up a printer has become. From opening the box to printing my first page, it took me around 10 minutes. You basically download the HP app, plug in the printer, install the ink and you're ready to go. I didn't experience any issues with connecting to WIFI or discovering the printer in the app. Everything worked as it should - the first time! INK: The ink in this printer is really the only elephant in the room. I would only recommend if you are someone who uses a printer casually. This printer only comes with a 3 month supply of ink so your milage may vary. This is my second printer and I don't expect it to get much use so ink is not a major concern for me. The DeskJet uses a 67 Triple-color color cartridge (3YM55AN#140) and a 67 black cartridge (3YM56AN#140). I've never been a fan of the trim-color cartridges because if you run out of one color, you still have to get a whole new ink cartridge. That being said, there are several advantages to tri-color. 1) The print head is on the cartridge - if the head clogs from sitting for long periods, you don't have to buy a new printer. 2) The cartridges are cheaper than buying individual colors most of the time. 3) Having all 3 colors in one cartridge usually allows for a smaller printer because of the space saved. PRINTING / OTHER: I couldn't find anything wrong with the print quality. After printing the test pages, I didn't have any issues firing off documents or even a few photos. As far as the scanner goes, it's a fairly low resolution but more than capable for the occasional document. This printer is a top-load style, so the 2827e can handle heavier stock without feeding issues. CONCLUSION: The HP DeskJet 2827e is a formidable option for the casual home printer who prioritizes affordability. The 2827e can scan, copy, print and fax - everything you need in a compact and capable package. If you're curious, the cost to replace both ink cartridges is around $47 and you can even subscribe to HP's Instant Ink program if you want to save even more.

The printer never connected to my computre. The AI help was not help at all. I was told to call a technician, but it would cost me $5. Then my credit card was rejected. I returned it to my Best Buy store. Those folks were terrific.

HP is back with their newest Deskjet, the all-in-one 2827e printer. This printer is a no-frills device that just gets the job done. With a focus on sustainability by using recycled materials and using a space saving design. The HP 2827e is for the everyday user that needs to print on demand. This printer can print, copy and scan documents. First things first, let address one of the most controversial features of the printer. Since this printer is HP+ enabled, which is an option that you can activate during setup. Activating HP+ does allow some perks such as: 3 months of instant ink Smart security that monitors for malware attacks Mobile printing while connected to Wi-Fi 60 sheet input paper tray After activating the HP+ features, you will be required to maintain an internet connection and either subscribe to HP instant ink or purchase original HP ink for the life-cycle of the printer. For me this is a bummer as I’m forced yet into another subscription or required purchase expensive HP ink. After performing a quick test by installing non-HP ink the security features that continuously monitors for incompatible ink cartridges will render aftermarket ink useless. I’ve tried inserting several off brands of ink to test the security of the printer and it gives a message of incompatible ink installed. Outside of this issue, I have no other issues with the 2827e. The print speed is sufficient, and the HP app will suffice for all your mobile printing and scanning needs. This is a well-rounded printer that is marred by firmware that forces you to stay within HP’s ink ecosystem. This printer is best suited for small home offices and everyday users.

I grabbed the HP DeskJet 2827e mostly for home use, printing forms and random papers for the kids, and honestly it’s been pretty solid so far. Setup was simple, the HP Smart app basically holds your hand through everything, and I had it printing from my phone in like ten minutes. The print quality is decent. Text looks clean, and color prints are better than I expected for the price. It’s not photo-lab good or anything, but for homework, labels, or basic color stuff it does the job fine. The size is another plus, small and easy to fit on a desk or shelf without hogging all the space. I also like that it scans and copies, so I don’t need to mess with extra gadgets. The free 3-month Instant Ink trial was nice too, I didn’t have to worry about running out of ink right away. Now, there’s a few small downsides. Ink gets pricey quick once the trial ends, and the cartridges don’t last super long if you print a lot. It also doesn’t do automatic two-sided printing, so I have to flip the pages myself. Not a big deal for me, but could be annoying if you print big docs. Speed-wise it’s okay, not fast but not painfully slow either. And yeah, it only works with HP cartridges (no off-brand ones), so that’s something to keep in mind. Overall, for a budget printer, I’m happy with it. It’s simple, compact, and does exactly what I need — no fancy bells and whistles, but it just works. If you print light and don’t want to spend a ton, this one’s worth it.
