    Terrible printer

    I'm so ready to trash it. Very very slow, always having errors. Have spent hours with Support and have taken into store. Told me it's a good printer for college students but I would feel sorry for the students who end up with it.

    Solid printer for the price. I had some trouble with the initial set up but most likely user error. Small and compact so it does't take up much space which is very nice. So far so good.

    I tried to love this printer but the one Out of the box was as yellow as the lemon it was. I was trying to connect it to my brand new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and it errors that it was incompatible with USB 3.0. I spend about 3 hours with Geek Squad when they finally pronounced this particularly item as citrus smelling. I exchanged it.

    Ink carriage would not allow me to load ink. When I finally was able to I received error messages stating printer could not be found. Returned it for an HP 5660 and I am very happy with the printer. No issues at all with the HP 5660

    Do not buy this printer. It is awful. Constant error messages and constant frustration. Prints and scans only when it feels like it - there is no consistency in when it does and [usually] doesn't work. Do not buy this printer - save yourself the annoying frustrations and money.

    Compact very slow but functional printer

    This printer took some time to set up as I wanted to use it hard wired to my computer for travel. It gave error messages and finally printed after a minute or so. The error messages though not specifically specified, meant the margins were too wide and if left alone it finally did print. It was just not clear what the problem was. This printer works well for low volume printing while being very compact. The quality of printed photos is very good.

    I needed a printer/scanner, but did not want anything bulky. This printer/scanner is just the right size. It is a little slow, in my opinion, and sometimes when I print (wirelessly), I get an error message that my laptop can't connect to the printer because there is no connection, but then, it prints. I'm guessing that it goes into sleep mode after periods of no use? The picture quality of scans isn't that great, but it gets the job done. It may not be the best, but it suits my needs for now. I have had this printer for about 2 months now. So far, it has worked very nicely with absolutely no problems. If problems should occur after my review, I will edit or comment.

    Bought this because my other hp printer I had for a year and half just died on us with having only been lightly used. Maybe replaced the ink twice and it crapped out. Bought this on 3/8/17 got home and tried installing it for 2.5 hours and I'm pretty tech savvy at that to. Instructions were horrible and completely vague. Not only that I installed the ink cartridge after having watched a hp video, well attempted to at least. Opened the tray and the carriage never moved at all I tried all the trouble shooting, unplugged, reinstalled ink, downloaded their support app, still giving the same error that there's a jam when it's never been used once. Couldn't even get the alignment page or test page done. Did some research and found out this is a issue with this printer. Do not buy this thing. It's a waste of time and money.
