Printer is simple to navigate after bypassing instructions that were hard to read. Printer works very well adjusting to colors and sizes of documents.

I purchased based off of speaking to a Best Buy Representative. When printing pictures it's not coming out as normal. The lettering is not dark enough. The pictures looks very different from the actual photo and looks faded or too glossy). The paper gets stuck or will shift sideways (even though it's aligned and positioned properly). Many attempts at troubleshooting and going through the alignment steps .... Issues are still there.

I can't really recommend this printer based on my own experience. I had high hopes when I bought it, but it ended up giving me a series of frustrating issues. To make matters worse, HP consistently failed to deliver my ink and paper, while still holding onto my money. It’s been quite the disappointment!

At 12 months and 7 days printer froze. Info light, wireless light, power light flashing. Panel shows E0 error. (HP cartridges have less than 50 copies printed. Tried everything to reset and checked cartridges but nothing will clear errors and no success trying to reset to factory settings. While this was a great buy and worked ok for a bit, this printer never printed more than maybe 200 copies in total. Good it’s discontinued as it has to go to junk pile already. Picture doesn’t show but the lights mentioned are flashing

Printer works great but using maximum dsi on an image resulted in me waiting roughly 10 minutes to print it. That’s the only flaw I’ve found thus far.

HP 4133e All In One

The HP Deskjet 4133e is great “simple” printer as HP describes it. It’s price point and features are clearly made for those that are looking for a simple printer/scanner/copier for the most basic of print functions. For many this is fine. The speed and quality of the printer are more than adequate for things like printing basic homework, files around the house, copying documents, receipts, etc., as well as quickly scanning things and the multi-page scanner worked great in my test.
Setup was very easy, wifi connection was simple. I did fumble the first time on the app because I had left the door open where the printer cartridges go. The setup app seemed to lose its mind and didn’t recover. Once I realized what I had done, I restarted the setup and it completed.
The HP Smart app works with both Android and Apple Air Print. I was able to use the HP Smart app on my phone to print to the printer which is nice. If you want to fax, you can sign up with Mobile Fax. They are offering a free 24 Month trial which is amazing. The docs say that after this period, they will inform you of pricing plans going forward.
Remember that this is still a “simple” printer. That means that things like duplex/2-sided printing doesn’t exist. That’s a really nice missing feature if you printer larger documents with any regularity. You will burn through some paper without this feature.
Overall, the printer is great for those use cases that fit it’s primary functions like print/scan/copy. It also comes with a free 6 month ink supply that you be billed for if you set it up once the 6 months is over. You can cancel before this happens. This really adds to the value at the price point. I do recommend this as long as you clearly understand the features that it has but also the features that it does not so you can make an informed decision.

Excellent Budget Printer

The HP Deskjet 4133 is an excellent budget printer. The printer is very well built, looks sleek and modern and it was very well packaged. Setting it up was relatively easy using the HP smart app. This printer only uses two ink cartridges and you will find a set in the box. One multicolor ink cartridge and one black. This printer's main functionality is wireless but you can connect it directly to PC via USB 2.0 but the cable is not included. You will find an LCD screen and functions buttons on the front. The paper tray is located in the back and it holds around 60 sheets. On the top you have the flat scanner glass and ADF slot.
The printing quality was very good for a sprinter of this caliber. It also prints very fast and quietly. For those who used the automatic two sided printing unfortunately is not supported by this printer. The scanning quality was very good as well. The Smart app is simple to use and you can access all the printer functionality from there. Over all this is a great printer that can handle most of your day to day tasks without breaking your pockets. It is easy to use and setup and only uses two ink cartridges. In the box you get the printer, power cable, set of inks, and some manuals.

HP - Deskjet 4133e Wireless All-In-One Inkjet
Summary:
A great budget friendly all-in-one printer.
Pros:
* Form factor. This unit maintains a clean form factor and won't take up too much deskspace.
* Easy setup. The setup of this printer is more or less streamlined and issue free. I don't know that having to use your phone is necessary, but the process worked the first time.
* Scanning, copying, and printing speeds are in line with similar all-in-one units of its class.
Cons:
* I think the phone setup might annoy some people.
* HP InstantInk subscription service is a clever idea, but I'd rather have on-demand ordering capabilities. I don't print a lot, and I imagine neither do most folk - why try so hard to coax people to using a subscription.
* No cloud save support. I am accustomed to my printers being able to scan documents directly into a cloud destination such as OneDrive. I haven't identified that capability for this printer, yet,
Use:
This unit replaced an older DeskJet (non-AIO). This unit provides expanded capabilities that are nice to have. This is an excellent value for those that need to print, copy, and scan. If you need slightly more advanced options, such as a LCD screen for settings (not depend on phone), or saving directly to a cloud destination, then you might want to consider other options.

HP deskjet 4133e Printer is a great all simple printer only.
Overall set up took about 15 mins.
Setup via Android app was pretty easy and quick. I set it up on all of our mobile phones so that everyone can use this for bulk printing and usage.
WiFi setup was fast using the App. Walking through step by step was super easy. I already have an account with other printers so that saved me time.
USB printing on windows 11 was good.
Printing was super fast. Color.was nice.
Resolution was good. I signed up for their ink service where they send me ink on a subscription. There are pros and cons for this so you will have to weigh out the options because of this.
Physical Color of white is nice and modern. The changed their overall shape design to look like a spaceship. Size is good does not take too big of a foot print.
Ink use is unknown. The cartridges are small so depending on how much you print it will cost you.
Multi page scanner is a huge plus for me. Using the app to get scans is easy.
Also remote printing to an email address is nice too.
In the past I have some bug issues with their app. It looks like they fixed that now.
I have had many HP printers before and they have all done well. This is no exception. Great job HP. I would recommend this for work from home and kids homework etc.

Airprint issues but good quality prints on gloss

Let’s face it, there’s no perfect printer. Each printer has a specific job and duty. A laser printer for office / high load print jobs. If a lot of printing text in a office setting is what you need, this is not the printer for you. This printer is for small load, glossy photo prints, that’s where this printer shines. And that’s perfect for home use. Let’s get to the details.
To start, there is no printer cable, that’s all gone. This is all Wi-Fi, so you will need to set it up with your smartphone. Yes it has AirPrint, and that’s how I printed the samples I have included. Set up was straight forward, took no more than 5 minutes - unwrap tape/cardboard, plug it in, download app, install ink, done. Easy and straightforward.
Now let’s get to where this little guy shines. Quick text prints, very fast, I’d grade the text quality definitely not laser sharp but passable as average for a color ink printer. So for quick documents , it will get the job done. For legal formal documents, just get the black laser printer as it will appear more professional.
Now printing a photo / image on normal paper was better than expected but not excellent. Above average, better than color laser, but not best in class. However, I was blown away by printing on glossy photo paper… WOW! The resolution/definition/colors are true to life, sharp, and such quality for this price. Don’t take my word for it, see the images I’ve included.
And with that, that is how you should approach this product. This is a small job, small load, high quality photo printer, amazing value at thus price point. It’s not the fastest, it’s not the best text , but just the value of what you get for a glossy photo print is amazing.

Focus on The Details!!

So, I know that HP has great computers, but I've never owned a printer until now. I'm not going to be a bore with writing about every detail on this unit. I want to focus on end results because we do t-shirt prints for our customers and ourselves.
I took some photos of my son's logo (RPW) on plain paper and using factory settings (plain paper, standard quality) and used the drivers for the printer (not using a program to print). As you can see HP was just a little too dark and didn't detail the water circle as well as the Epson as you can see in the photo of the actual picture on the computer. Now this is just plain paper so, I printed some jobs on heat transfer vinyl material using again factor settings. The photo with the flowers and you can see the HP hit the color much better but if you zoom in on photo you might see what I seen that the Epson while darker was much smoother cleaner looking. The HP was just not as sharp and clean around the edges but hit the color on all substrates we used. I personally like my printer to hit the color on most jobs we do. This HP will be used more often from now on, one little pet peeve...HP add "print preview" screen please.
