    This was defective from the moment I opened the box. It wouldn't recognize any ink cartridge as being inserted so it's simply wouldn't work.

      If you’ve not done so already, I recommend you contact the seller to address this promptly. You can arrange for a return or exchange by scrolling to the bottom of the Best Buy website and clicking Orders & Returns. If you bought it in person, you can return it to the retailer yourself.
