In order to use the HP printer, you have to download the HP Smart app. Once it is downloaded, you need to register to gain full access to the features available to you. The app is amazing and very user friendly. Right on the homepage, you have shortcuts you can use to quickly do any task you need. All it takes is a tap of one of the shortcuts. There is a shortcut so that you can take a picture of anything and then save it as a pdf document. You can even text that document to anyone or print it by sending it to the printer right from your phone. You can do the same with pictures. You also have the option of selecting documents and/or photos from your Facebook profile, Dropbox account, Google photos, and your Google drive. Once you have selected which documents or photos you want to print, just send it to the printer to print. A full page color photo print took almost three minutes to print while a black and white document took about a minute. The print quality was very good for a desk jet printer. The picture and document had well defined lines and the color was true to life. I was very pleased with the results. I also love that I have 6 months of free ink with the purchase of the printer. The program is called insta ink. And when your supply gets low, they automatically send you more ink so you never run out. I would highly recommend purchasing this printer. So far I have not had any issues with the printer and the app is really easy to use. Also it’s a wireless printer. The only cord it has is the power cord. No having to deal with any of tangled cords around your desk.

Cheap printer for a not so cheap price. Everything print crooked. Definitely disappointed in my purchase.

When scanning a document, the printing is distorted/blurred a half an inch down the page

I feel like HP is going for the crowd that wants to have a printer and scanner that works good for the few times you need to either print or scan a document. In the box, you get the color ink cartridge, black ink cartridge, power cable, and the printer. They include a "Get Started" instruction sheet which pretty much says to turn the printer on and install the HP Smart app in your app store and follow the instructions within the app to setup the printer for the first time. Setup was simple. It took me just a few minutes to download the app, hook up the printer, setup the printer, and print the test sheet. I even printed out a colored photo (on regular paper) to see the quality in the details that this printer has. I was not disappointed in it, again since it was on standard paper and not photo paper but even when I scanned the same printed copy into the scanner, it still reflected a good scan overall. Scanning just dulled some of the color but when scanning documents it did so pretty well. Within the HP Smart app I recommend you get familiar with the tiles that are similar to how Windows 10 has some tiles for their apps. I recommend you go into your printer's "advanced settings" to get access to web services and network settings. When my old printer suddenly died, I started to look for a replacement. But there are so many printers out there that I wasn't sure what kind to get. My old one was a "most-in-one" whereas this one truly does everything you need in a printer. I was happy to see that most if not all packaging is recyclable, thanks HP for not using Styrofoam. The printer itself came completely sealed in plastic wrap, giving you a peace of mind that no one has touched the printer since it was manufactured. This is the first time I've seen a printer packaged like that. Inside the box, there is a power cord, 2 ink cartridges and an assortment of literature like the setup guide and an insert about the Instant Ink promotion. After removing all the blue tape and cardboard inserts, plug in the power cord and let it do its thing. While this is happening, you might want to fire up the app store and download the HP Smart app that allows for mobile use of the printer. Curiously enough, the setup part that took longest was the downloading of the app from the store. Once that was finished, create an account and start the printer setup, it guides you through the steps necessary to connect to the network, ETC. Once I had the printer ready, I opened the app and started printing. I printed photos, black & white documents, charts and random stuff. Everything came out as expected. Good color, definition and readable text. It looks just like you expect a printer to look, so no props for design. This thing is just functional. With the app, you can do so much! Scan, copy, fax, print from any smart device that can connect to the network. And did I mention it comes with 6 months of free ink? With the amount of printing I do monthly, this adds to significant savings. So, in short, this printer does what you expect it to.

Nice compact little printer. I had trouble setting it up as the directions were not very helpful. Overall all it is easy to use and printing and copying are good.

This printer goes very well with the HP All-in-One desktop that I bought. Easy to set up, instant wireless connectivity, and good quality printing. If you need speed or need high volume printing capability, go up the food chain. This printer is a great lightweight.

This HP Deskjet Plus 4155 All-in-one wireless printer is quiet, compact & economical. It prints, scans, faxes & uses a total of two cartridges. It is easy to use & the print & fax quality is great. It meets all the needs of a student in High School & or College.

This hp printer is so much easier to use. the set up was so easy, just go to the website indicated and enter and click ,so much simple. I was able to connect with my computer and my iPhone. this printer is quick and quiet and reasonable. I would recommend this printer to a friend and other.

Pros: Looks nice Gets the job done Very easy to use Ink isn’t that expensive with the hp plus subscription. Wireless connection The app it tells you to download is easy to use You can use the printer offline by connecting to the printers “wifi”. The app is very useful. Cons: It’s kinda fast. Takes up to 10 seconds to print. I’ve had faster hp printers that get the job done in 5 sec. It takes a while to start up. Like a good 15 sec. I have an iPhone and it’s kinda difficult to print using air print. I have to use the app when this happens. Works best when it’s connected to wifi so the connection can stay stable. You cannot print double sided

Great printer with multi functions. When I work from home and this printer gives me the ability to scan documents and print from my cell phone. Great feature.

This new edition to the deskjet lineup is very impressive.It offers all the functionality of a larger all in one office model, but in a smaller much lighter unit.The design is focused on size, weight and functionality, trying to squeeze as many options into a standard size printer.The automatic document feeder can hold up to 35 sheets at various sizes up to 8.5" wide. The paper tray can hold up to 60 standard pieces of paper and different sized media from 3"x5" to 8.5"x14", including envelopes, photo papers, and cards.The copy features can be accessed directly from the control panel at the front, right of the printer. There is a color copy button and a grayscale copy button.Both buttons work in the same way, just press either button once to scan and copy your image or document. For additional copies, keep pressing the button up to 9 times. Directly from the printer, you can do additional copies up to 9 at a time, but from the pc or mobile app, you can enter any number needed. The default copy resolution is 300dpi (which should be very sufficient for most purposes). The control panel LCD shows the ink status, number of copies, wireless connected icon, and mobile/remote printing icon. You can cancel or resume any print job from the 2 left-most buttons on the panel.  All other features and options are available through the apps. Here you can fax any image or document anywhere, scan items to pc or mobile,  use smart tasks, or start creativity projects. Smart tasks can help you create one-touch shortcuts for printing, emailing, and saving documents with custom options. HP is giving customers 2 years of their faxing services for free with the purchase of this printer. Sending faxes from your pc or phone is very easy, and can be done over the internet as opposed to a LAN line. HP is also offering 2 free months of their ink replacement program with this printer , and has programs starting as low as $2.99 per month. When you register your printer for the program you also enable the remote printing option. After which you can send any image or document to your printer's direct email address( provided by HP ),  from anywhere outside your house. When you return home, you can retrieve your printed items. The printer handles scanning and printing of documents very well, offering color prints up to 4800x1200dpi. I scanned a magazine cover and a stock photo frame insert, then printed them from the printer without adjusting the scan or print settings. I was extremely impressed with how good each print came out. In both photos the item to the left is the original, and the print is on the right. The only negative thing I can say about the photo printing is that there is no borderless print option, otherwise the color and quality seem to be just as good as a dedicated photo-printer. Overall this printer is fun to use, with great features and impressive results. The HP 4155 prints and scans at a fast rate with exceptional quality. One of my favorite features, which is available through the mobile app, is the ability to resize any image and position it anywhere on the print layout. I have paid for other apps, that attempt to do this, but don't work over half the time. With the HP Smart mobile app, it has been very easy and very reliable! 

The HP Deskjet Plus 4155 Wireless All In One Instant Ink-Ready Inkjet Printer has many good qualities - it's compact, pretty quiet when printing, can scan, copy & print, can run wireless (didn't work well for us) & with a cable to connect (not sure of the name?), prints from my iPhone, has access to Instant Ink program. It is not complicated as it has very few buttons but speaking as a legally blind person the buttons & screen are very very small for even those with 20/20 vision. I have had to memorize the buttons but at least there aren't many!!! Loading the paper in the back is a little tricky and it only holds small amounts of paper. You can feed your documents through the top of the printer which can be a time saver. It is a good printer for the price and if being used in a home setting where there is not too much printing going on - it's probably perfect. (It works for us.) The best part is definitely the Instant Ink program which we are getting free for 3 months to start & after that I believe will save us lots of time & money. The quality of the print has been good so far. I do have to say getting it installed remotely took pretty much most of a work day, was frustrating & then had to be fixed just a few days later after it would not print at all! We had to connect it both by wi-fi and cable - now it seems better. Tech support could have been better but they were swamped & had problems with the install to my Dell computer. I would recommend finding someone to install it or if you are able - go for it! I wish I had paid for the in home installation. Overall I am happy. Nothing in life is perfect - especially technology.

This printer is good for home use. It can print, scan, and copy in color. It has wireless and mobile printing features. It also comes with a free trial of HP+ and Instant Ink. It is easy to set up and use. The print quality is decent, but the ink is expensive. I rate it 4 stars out of 5.

Very easy to set up and connects easily to Wi-Fi! It’s affordable and sturdy. I would recommend this to anybody that’s looks for an affordable printer! Also, comes with 6 months of ink and hp + it’s a steal. HP has your back with ink that will save you tons of money. Thank you!!
