Standard desk top computer with windows 10. I'm over 50 and it works for my needs. I find that it's very light weight compared to my last one I bought 9 years ago. The key board has flatter keys so that is taking some getting used to while the mouse clicks a little louder than I'd like. Minor annoyances that doesn't effect the performance of the computer. Next time I think I'll buy a silver one so I can see where the usb /cd/dvd ports are as they blend in well.

A family member wanted this computer and had me set it up for them. The performance is quite solid, and bloatware is minimal. For just a general-purpose computer this is a great place to start. Has excellent performance for the price. You can expect to easily run office applications, web browsing, videos, and some minor amounts of gaming (expect graphic compromises, but it should be able to run many games with the right settings - which is still great for this price). The biggest thing that this does right compared to other computers at this price-point: it has a SSD instead of a mechanical hard drive. This is one of the most noticeable things in terms of performance, it will help everything load faster and can often make performance seem overall more snappy. Just be sure your software will all fit on a 256 GB hard drive! Now for the other side of things: the power supply is only 180W. It is at least 80+ gold, so it's likely good quality and can last a while, but don't expect to add anything like a dedicated graphics card here. Also, it is not a normal form factor, so replacing the power supply could prove difficult. This severely limits upgradeability in some aspects (you should still easily be able to upgrade RAM or the SSD at least). But that is fine if you are just getting it for basic computing tasks, as you likely will be able to use it for several years as-is. Overall, I would recommend this for basic users, office tasks, school, or similar activities. The price when I got it was better than if I were to try and build it myself!

Excellent value. Good graphics capability. The processor is reasonably quick and the solid state drive is ultra fast. Working and remoting into my workstation which is running 3d modelling software is trouble free. Web surfing is quick with no lag.

If you are new to computers you will like this one with it's list of functions only a click away, allowing you to view all its applications easily & fast. I may be an average user, but I still like to move quickly & the speed this Series offers is no slouch in that department. Plenty of GB & Memory with a price that will not stress your bank account. I never had a solid state drive, it's nice not hearing your computer revving up to get started & hoping it will. This unit is quiet which is a welcomed change.

HP is the way to go for simple home use this computer is great has all features as higher priced models, and have not found any issues with its programs, plenty of memory and very easy for all ages. would recommend as a first purchase or as we did a replacement for an older computer. Enjoy the graphics and the speed. Thanks to HP for their great products, and ease of use for seniors

I purchased this computer (and a hard drive and software package) for a small law office. It does everything we need, is quiet, and was reasonably priced. Set up was quick and easy. I made sure to transfer all files from the old computer to an external hard drive then I unplugged it. From there I simply went wire by wire from the old on to the new one, using the new cables of course. When I turned this pc on, it walked me through all of the set up options. After that, I installed the software package and began looking into the hard drive asks editing files to make sure all was well... And it was. I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy another if necessary.

This computer is quick and very lightweight. The setup was very easy. It loads fast and is very quiet! It has a lot of useful tips! A must have!

Purchased for my 87 yo mother. Works well. No glitches. Easy to set up. Nice speed for email, facebook, watching videos, etc. No complaints. Solid state drive probably more stable than hard disc. 256GB is adequate unless you are storing movies.

The computer takes up less room, is lighter in weight and easy to use. It is also quiet.

Listen...it has been about 12 years since I purchased a computer. I did not want to spend thousands of dollars and needed something really fast, since I am working from home now. I work in the medical billing field and I needed something that can run different programs simultaneously. This is it! It was so easy to get it up and running. It is super fast and loads pages super quick! I can have all my tabs up and run multiple software programs with NO LAG! The keyboard is quiet and seems to make me type faster LOL. I set up both my monitors with the VGA female to HDMI male cord and the wireless WiFi (built in) with ease. I am no tech and this was easy to do. If you need a work from home computer this is it! And Best Buy customer service chat was a big help and answered questions before I purchased it. This is an excellent product and I will buy this computer again if I need another one.

So far all good. This replaced a old model HP that gave up. Much faster than the old one. USB ports on the front make it easy to hook up other tools. Smaller and lighter than the old one. I added storage space and had the Geek squad transfer files from the old one. Everything was done on time.

I bought this for my 93 years old father who is presently using a 10 years old Windows 7 computer. The original setup was easy enough. Connected to the internet, it found all the needed drivers. The processor is no speed demon, but the ssd certainly helps the computer run fast. He will be primarily using it to surf the internet and do some basic word processing and spreadsheet files. The keyboard is unimpressive - gives you something to type on, but I would not be happy if I had to use it all the time. My father will most likely use the keyboard from his old Dell. The corded mouse is about what you would expect it to be. Again, my father will probably use the logitech cordless mouse he is presently using. A printed version of the warranty is included, however the print is so small it is unreadable. The main reason I want a more readable copy is that the credit card I bought it with gives a free second year warranty, but they require that you provide a copy of the warranty. After having it burn in for the last few days I am hopeful that it is going to last.

This PC exceeded my expectations. I am using it as a media client for two dozen high end cameras in a long term psychiatric facility. The processor and graphics processor are outstanding. I would recommend this PC to anyone. The price is way below the value!
