I needed a desktop and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The price was right (less than half the cost of my Lenovo Thinkpad, but the processor isn't as powerful - my T495S has an AMD Ryzen Pro and the desktop has a Ryzen 5). HDMI, plenty of USB inputs, a headphone jack, and it came with a keyboard & mouse (I already had a monitor). It would be nice if it had built-in speakers, so that's one detail worth highlighting if you want audio (other than headphones with the headphone jack) - make sure you have an audio output device. Super quiet, fast and reliable desktop - have been using it almost every day since I bought it and plan to use for years to come.

This machine is a very good buy. AMD Ryzen 5 is a solid chip and rated better than the Intel 5 chipset on the benchmark test. The machine is fast. For this price, having 12 gigs memory and 1 TB solid-state is a hands-down win. Ample ports, and easy to set up. No problems thus far. Do know, there is NO CD ROM drive. You will have to buy one separately with a USB plug to use one. I went for a prefab Dell. I do not think this machine would tolerate upgrades well.

So happy we found this computer. It’s very fast and easy to use. The solid state drive is so quiet. Plenty of USB ports, front and back. Everything hooked up quickly and worked right away. There was no DVD/CD drive but I just bought an external one and it loaded up and works great.

this is my 4th HP, my first one purchased way back when. good price, reliable, packed with features way beyond what i need for the typical empty nesters (no gaming consoles to use up memory) but still i see it's hooked up to many toys; wide screen tvs, landline telephone, wifi, security cameras, nest hub, etc.

Great features for the price. Was easy to install and setup. It’s a speedy and responsive cpu with a large SSD should provide many useful years or use. Never had a AMD Ryzen based pc and I will not hesitate to buy as alternative to Intel in the future.

Been using for about a month so far, been running quietly and smoothly so far. Have played some games on it and it runs decently enough without any hiccups. Certainly not on maximum settings of course, but if your expectations aren't super high, this guy gets the job done.

I was a bit skeptical when buying this, as there were no videos that I could find on youtube about this specific computer. So I basically bought it with my fingers crossed. I was delighted to find out that this computer is very good. Smaller than I expected, but very nice. The included keyboard and mouse are not the greatest, but I was never focused on them in the first place. The 12 gigabytes of ram make loading the web very easy. Watching videos or live streams was very smooth and it wasn't a buffering experience at all. I like to play games, and I was very glad that this computer could handle some of the ones that I have installed. For example, I was able to run Destiny 2 on the highest graphics and it stayed at 50 fps most of the time. I do think that I will put in a new graphics card once prices go down though, because I think that the graphics card is a little lacking. Gaming is great overall. Summary: Great for web browsing and gaming. Recommend upgrading the graphics card if possible. This is an awesome computer!

Great office computer for the price. It wasn’t a huge upgrade in price vs some of the baseline models and had more RAM and a SSD. This is no gaming computer but it’s perfect for my office which also involves some photo and video applications and is lightning fast.

This purchase was made in desperation as my previous computer stopped working. And although other computers were in stock this one had to be ordered and I'm glad I waited for it. It was recommended by the sales rep at Best Buy. Very fast, lots of memory and perfect for my home office. It's smaller than my other computer so it even takes up less space. I don't hear a sound from it. I'm not very computer literate so the other features I can't comment on. But so glad I purchased this - super fast!!

very fast pc only had for 1 week did not test for up past 6 months yet hope it runs good for next 3 years at least very good budget purchase this as open box for cheaper it comes with keyboard and mouse it wast needed i have my own light up keyboard and mouse works way better than factory ones...

This is a great computer! What you get for the price is just what I was looking for. It runs so quietly, you can only hear it when its updating; which takes like 2 minutes. It runs very fast and smooth. It has so many usb ports, I'm not close to using them all. The mouse and keyboard it comes with are great! All around very happy with it!

We bought this for my adult daughter's use. It was a bit over priced in my opinion. She does artwork on the Adobe platforms and she does a lot of gaming online so the specs for memory and hard drive was pretty decent at the time of purchase. Now she seeing some sluggish behavior so we're not sure how much longer it will be viable or expandable for her needs period

Haven't purchased a CPU in sometime, but with all the researching I did, I came to purchase this model. Setup was easy, nice small size phsyically, fast enough for my purpose and enough hardrrive and memory for office work.

The computer exceeded my expectations. We needed a new everyday computer since our last one was from 2010 from Best Buy too. You get a powerful computer for everyday tasks and some games like minecraft run very smooth on it. Makes multi tasking a breeze too. Only a minor negative didn’t have a dvd drive but not a big deal was able to add a portable one for 20 bucks. If you don’t need a gaming computer this will be the computer for you to upgrade too,

Very nice computer. It performs great and is very fast. I really like all the USB Ports. I've had it for a couple of weeks and am happy with my purchase.

I was so accustomed to my computer that I didn't want any changes. It was getting finicky but like a "boyfriend" I made excuses for it and kept it going as best I could. But one day it just died.... in the middle of my work. I feared something new. The transition from my old tower to this one was seamless. The new computer is fast and included all the features I enjoy. I sit down with confidence each day that my computer will function!

I swore off HP computers years ago due to their propensity for bloatware. Didn't see any of that in the current model other than the 90 free trial of McAffee. Speed when processing my inventory of photos from various drives was excellent. Wifi speed is a beat or so slower than I would like, but acceptable. Have not tried with ethernet wire connection yet. Would have preferred a 2 TB SSD but that isn't offered through Best Buy, only through HP site. Preferred the convenience of picking up right away from the store.

Easy purchase online, computer is exactly what we needed for an employee, fast, reliable and great value for our $.

Easy to install, fast, a great upgrade to what we had, my son loves it.
