This computer boots fast and is super quiet. I was able to add my 3.5” HD with no issues. I do not play games and only have it for general internet use and personal finances (Excel/Word),

Computer Is OK, Documentation Less So

Woeful lack of on-line technical information from HP or BestBuy & some of it, e.g., front/back panel location of USB2/USB3 ports was wrong. Win 10 -> Win 11 app/data migration to new system went better than expected. System not designed for serious gaming or video editing but is more than adequate for its home office use.

Nice comp with ability to update CPU and GPU.

(In the future I may upgrade CPU.) Comp recognized the RAM and GPU. I have had zero issues one month in. Make sure you apply all Windows updates before installing your personal software. I kinda miss the Disc drive, probably because I'm old :) Flash drives from now on :)

Good features for a budget PC

However, like most PC and laptops, there are lots of bloatware that I had to uninstall, e.g. Norton, McAfee, Skype, games, etc.

Lightning fast startup!

The startup is incredibly fast. I use it primarily for internet surfing, watching videos, Word, and Excel. The startup for Microsoft Office apps is very quick with no lag. I highly recommend this HP for home use.
