I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because it was not advertised as “refurbished” when purchased. It is a 2020 model so the store explained it was refurbished. Other than that it works well but does not carry the standard warranty and has only a 2 week return back policy.

Computer is very clean looking, and I love the way the keyboard feels. It's very mobile and easy to move around from place to place. I was unaware it was refurbished when purchasing, but I couldn't tell when unboxing. Would recommend.

I had a Macbook pro and macbook air and I HATED that i needed so many connections and the features were hard to use, but this laptop far exceeds both of those laptops. I use mine for school, work and gaming and it does so well with everything. the features are super easy, the connections are amazing, never looking back

The PC is excellent, and you can't tell it's refurbished just by looking at it. However, it's misleading that the refurbished status isn't clearly identified. Despite using the "new" filter in my Best Buy search, this still appeared in the results.

Good light weight easy to use light weight fast upload

I love how lightweight the computer is, that is fast and its just the right size for my daughter

First off, the touchpad is so loud when used that I couldn't take this computer anywhere where it needed to be quiet, like a classroom or a library. Secondly, I checked twice before buying to see if it was new or refurbished because of the other reviews and chat twice assured it was new. It claims a one-year warranty. I contacted hp to see what could be done about the touchpad noise and they told me the warranty had expired. I contacted BestBuy chat and I wasted an hour while they shifted me from one agent to another. No one knew what to do about any of it. I was told I would have to go to my "nearest" store location and try to sort it out in person.

The HP EliteBook 840 G8 is a solid choice for both professional and personal use.

Bought this refurbished by joysystems and it is as good as a new one

Not great quality. I had to return due to system failure.

You can barely tell this is refurbished, however i feel very misled by the product on Bestbuy.com not stating in thenproduct description anywhere that it is refurbished. Hopefully it holds up.

Great value, came in perfect condition. Looks and runs like a brand new laptop. Love this deal.
