    Well-Rounded Laptop

This laptop runs incredibly fast and is very smooth to get everything set up. It has a very premium feel to it and it’s not too heavy to carry around. The specs make it great to run with games, and the cooling system makes it capable of handling these things well. I would recommend a cooling fan underneath though to keep temps under 50 degrees if you want extended longevity & don’t like the 70ish degrees while gaming. Only complaint is the battery life which is decent, but I just wish it could’ve been a tad bit longer while gaming especially. It roughly lasts 6 hours while doing minimal tasks and around 3 hours gaming.

I recently purchased the HP Envy x360 16, and it’s been a great 2-in-1 laptop so far. The 16-inch OLED touchscreen is absolutely stunning, and the 360-degree hinge makes it super versatile. It handles everyday tasks smoothly, and the design feels premium. However, the battery life could be better, and the audio quality is just okay. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase for its performance and style.

Just got this lab top a few weeks ago but so far nothing bad to comment. Great speed and function is excellent… I read a bunch of the low rating reviews and completely disagree with complaints I read. I have had multiple lab tops(mostly higher quality) over time and this ranks up there as far as performance. I am not a gamer but usually buy gaming computers given higher quality of components etc.

Awesome laptop, good charge, solid capabilities. Able to run Solidworks 2024, MasterCAM, Inventor, and Fusion with no upgrades done to the laptop. Very good for what I needed and at a good price. Would recommend to anyone in need of a CAD design laptop.

Performance is good. I bought this open box so for the specs it is a good price at that price point. There is a ton of updating to do, including Windows Updates, HP Updates (drivers, BIOS), Nvidia graphics drivers, then the Intel Drivers (graphics and Wifi/Bluetooth). So, four different programs to use for updates (Windows Update/HP Support/Nvidia Website/Intel Graphics Software). A tip - Uninstall HP Omen Game Center if you plan on adding more than one user on this machine, as it causing major lag when switching to a new user for some reason (researched online and found this to be the culprit, which was true in my case as well). I also uninstalled a majority of the HP software except for the HP Support app. All in all I spent a couple of hours prepping the machine for use. Boot time and load times improved a bunch once all the updating was complete. My son tested the laptop with his Roblox games and gameplay was smooth.

The laptop was great and best buy was even better for helping me exchange the laptop. Laptop quality and performance is excellent. Laptop battery is rougly 6 hours with heavy use (non gaming) and 8 hours light use. Laptop can game but is limited to medium setting for good performance. Laptop cooling is very good and has vapor chamber for cooling. Laptop does not project heat to the base of the laptop where the keyboard is. Laptop does heatup where the vents are and that's normal (during gaming) Laptop does not get warm during light to moderate use. I had to return my unit as the touchscreen was not working out the box. The second unit is running with no issues for the past month.

Very sleek looking! A little heavy though, i wouldnt recommend a carry on for a school background. I will use for home use only and I will buy a smaller screen with a less weight to carry to school. Fast machine though and its touch screen which I love. You dont regret. Great for office or home use only, but too heavy to carry to college.

I’ve been using the HP Envy 16” for a few weeks, and it’s been fantastic. The Intel Core i7 and 16GB of memory ensure smooth multitasking, while the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 handles graphics-intensive tasks effortlessly. The 1TB SSD provides ample storage and quick load times. The natural silver finish is sleek and modern, and the touch-screen is responsive and clear. Overall, a powerful and stylish laptop that delivers great performance.

This is a fantastic laptop in many ways, but has some fatal flaws. Its like a 5-star for some things and a 1-star for others. The good: bright, clear touch screen with nicely saturated colors and good contrast. The performance is strong and the cooling system seems to be better than average. Even under heavy loads the performance holds up well. Getting a 4060 in a laptop this thin and professional looking is nice. Speakers are very good, with more bass than many laptops. The aesthetics are good with the all-metal case. Meh: Keyboard feel and touchpad are decent. Case has a clean look, but would prefer something in a darker grey. That's subjective though and the sliver looks just fine. The laptop is heavy as others have noted. It is a bit of a brick/tank, but considering what it brings to the table, it is acceptable. Battery life is ok under typical workloads. The deal breakers: The keyboard backlight is atrocious. Under many lighting conditions the white light on sliver keys makes the letters invisible. Turning the backlight off can help, but then the letters are hard to read for a different reason. The screen should tilt backwards 15 more degrees. I have not had a computer which is so tilt-limited. Using on a lap becomes super frustrating because the screen won't go back far enough. Finally, the laptop WILL NOT charge over USB-C unless it is fully powered off (not asleep and not while using). So forget about a single cable to your monitor, and plan on taking the proprietary charging BRICK everywhere you go. Whatever you do, don't forget the included charger or you will just be out of luck (and soon out of battery). This alone is reason enough not to consider this HP Envy. I will be returning.

Well-liked for its potent performance, excellent display, and elegant appearance is the HP Envy 16" laptop. It is highly regarded for its robust hardware, superb screen clarity, and long-lasting construction, which make it a fantastic option for both creative and professional jobs. Although it varies depending on usage, battery life is generally good.

Excellent computer, much better than my last HP which had no video card. This one does and everything is much faster and clearer pictures. Only slight down side is the cooling fan is a bit loud, but easily over looked for the better performance.

This is the perfect laptop for a content creator that doesn't want to have to pay the hefty Apple prices. Plus its pretty good for gaming as well It has plenty of ports and is powerful enough for a good majority of the things I do as a video editor. With this laptop you are getting a great price to performance deal, especially with a RAM upgrade which is incredilbly easy to do on your own with this laptop. I highly recommend this laptop.

At first everything was going great with it. High performance, ran smoothly, it just had some slight unnoticeable lags from time to time. As time went by it started rebooting on its own, sometimes entirely restarting and closing all the apps I had open and any files I was working on. It also got into that weird habit of blacking out and opening up with a yellowish tainted screen. One of the speakers also sounds weird sometimes. And I've only had it for 2 weeks. I searched for weeks before deciding to settle on that laptop, and got it on sale at a quite affordable price for the quality described. No wonder its original price keeps going down at every sale.

I use this thing just about everyday. Its a pretty nice laptop but I wish it wasn't silver. So far it seems to do everything I want and even does games. I haven't played anything hardcore yet but it does good on games. I bought it on sale also. I like the touchscreen and the speed seems good.
