I don’t know what to say, but it’s a good laptop for school

Have had this laptop for less than 24 hours. Started my workday at 8am and it is almost 3pm. Have gotten the blue screen of death 7 times, forcing the laptop to shutdown. Error: "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some info, and then we'll restart for you. :( " . Disconnecting me from my work calls and not saving my work in my files. Returning this ASAP!!!

I have been using the HP ENVY 17.3" Full HD Touch-Screen Laptop for about a month now, and I am overall very impressed with it. It is a powerful laptop with a large and beautiful display, making it ideal for productivity, entertainment, and creative work. Here are some of the things I like about the laptop: The 17.3-inch Full HD touch screen is stunning. The colors are vibrant and the images are sharp. I love being able to use the touch screen for things like scrolling through documents or websites, or zooming in on images. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM, so it is very fast and responsive. I can easily multitask with multiple applications open at once, and I have never experienced any lag or slowdown. The laptop has a large 1TB SSD, which provides plenty of storage space for my files and applications. The laptop is also very well-built. It has a sturdy aluminum chassis that feels premium and durable. Here are a few things I don't like about the laptop: The laptop is a bit heavy, weighing in at 5.5 pounds. This isn't a deal-breaker for me, but it is something to keep in mind if you are looking for a lightweight laptop. The battery life is not the best. I can usually get about 6 hours of battery life on a single charge, but this will vary depending on how you are using the laptop. Overall, I am very happy with the HP ENVY 17.3" Full HD Touch-Screen Laptop. It is a powerful and versatile laptop that is perfect for my needs. I had an HP 17" laptop prior to this new one and it lasted 11 years! I really like the new one. The screen has touch capability, which I didn't think I'd use, but it has come in handy several times now. I like the SD drive, rather than the old hard drive on the other one. This one is a LOT faster than the previous one. It processes fast and boots up and shuts down fast. It's also much lighter (weight) and easier to carry around. It's nice to have bluetooth, too. The battery lasts well, but I really wish HP had kept the battery door underneath so I could someday change to a new battery easily. This laptop would require you to take it apart to change the battery. So, overall I am very happy with my new 17" HP laptop and would recommend it as a good and reliable laptop.

This is one of the best everyday laptops I’ve ever used. I have some minor vision issues due to a retinal tear so I needed a 17” I could scale up slightly for better readability. The screen, while not the brightest I’ve ever had is adequate to even handle some outside work, the speakers are excellent (they’re not MacBook Pro level, but then again you’re not paying that price). The keyboard is solid and the configuration is future-proof enough that I didn’t feel like I was buying some ultra budget package, yet strong enough that I can even do some light gaming (SWTOR and WOW) on lower settings. I also dabble in music production and was able to use OmniSphere with my various midi controllers no problem. It’s not your end all be all laptop, but it’s not meant to be. It’s a good all-a-rounder that is light enough to take with you if needed (doesn’t need a massive power supply to charge), won’t leave you sad when consuming media, and is powerful enough to do all the basics, a fair amount of more advanced stuff, and even some casual high end stuff. I purchased this on a holiday sale when it was $250-ish off MSRP. It would be a buy even if the sale wasn’t happening; however, if it is and you need a larger screen and aren’t looking for a high-end gaming laptop, getting this is a no-brainer.

This is a really nice & easy to use computer. I do not do any games. The computer is for paying bills, surfing web, email etc. But especially for storing photos & making youtube videos & the like. I needed large storage. The 10 key pad was a must. The illumination characters on keyboard is really nice & handy. Feel if the keys is very good. Battery life seems good. The speed of loading web pages etc. is shockingly fast. Speakers are loud enough. The screen is sort of frameless so wider viewing area, which is nice. Screen resolution is outstanding. The finger pad works very good & you push pad down like mouse button to click. I generally use a wireless mouse with laptop on desk. We paid $999 on sale. To us was worth every penny. I’ve not found a downside to this laptop. If you want 10 key pad there are few that still have one so the choice to by this laptop was easy.

Love my new HP laptop. It was super easy to set up for this 62-year-old grandma and is really fast. Lovew the large screen and slim lines. I was up and running in no time and am computing away. Now I am going to buy a second one for my adult son.

I had to rush to Best Buy one morning bc the school semester had just started and my laptop was CRASHING. I looked around at the laptops and I felt this one was the one. The price for the amount of memory it has, touchscreen, and the screen is nice and big. I’ve been using it a couple months now and I love it.

Sometimes my laptop is a little quirky, like suddenly not responding to the TouchPad, and I have to shut it down and then reboot, and then it works perfectly again. The power adapter is a really bad component, and I had to replace it just after the one year mark of owning so I had to pay out of pocket to get a new power adapter. About 3-4 hours of battery life on Zoom, longer with other apps. Those things aside, it's a great laptop with ample computing power, very smooth streaming, beautiful screen, decent speakers, and lightweight.

I upgraded to this computer from a laptop I had had for about 10 years that I thought was still functioning fairly well. After using this, I see how old my other laptop was getting. This computer has a great battery life thus far. It runs quickly and does what I need it to. I mostly do office-type work so I'm reading and editing documents and work on Google Docs and doing basic internet functions. It works well for my needs. The screen is huge, and I love it.

Works great, fast, great display, backlite keyboard so helpful. But i do wish laptops these days came with built in cd drive.
